The hostel is in a good location just over 10 minutes from the centre and the train station as well as the truck station. The beds were comfortable, the space was wide, except for the bathroom which was a little too small. However, everything was quite clean and the lady at the reception was quite friendly.

A big plus point for the hostel: the train was late, arrived late at night in Rijeka. No problem, very helpful. Dared to check in even later. Very friendly, helpful! Small room with private bathroom. Dog-friendly accommodation!!! Hostel is 5 minutes from the train station.

Simple room with private bathroom

Apartment on the second floor consisting of 4 bedrooms plus a shared kitchen. In each room there is a bathroom, dirty and dirty besides being tiny. In our room we couldn't even open the door. The shower was full of mold and the smell of sewage was very strong. Forget a real hostel: nothing more than a toupee with sheets, dirty mattresses (try to look at them!) and used towels. The street overlooking it is very noisy and the windows don't even close well. We thought we'd go!

It sucks!

First of all, this hostel is located perfectly for everyone who wants to explore the city. It is close to the center, the bus station and the harbour. We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable and welcome which was especially due to the lovely girl at the reception who made sure that we had everything we needed and helped us find our way around Rijeka. If you look for an affordable accommodation with a warm atmosphere, book a room at Hostel Kvarner :)

Cozy room close to the center of Rijeka

We were in this small b&b last summer, just one night's drive. The manager is young, very kind and available and the location is very convenient to see the center of Rjieka. Despite the absolute availability in carrying our Laila, a large size meticulous, unfortunately the room turned out to be quite small and she had a bit of trouble finding a corner to lie down in, in the room beside the bed and in a corner to stop the suitcases there was practically no more room!

Four-legged river crossing

We stayed for 2 nights. It is very close to bus station and center of city- which is great because we were on foot.
Host gave us very usefull info on getting arround the city and good places to eat ( boonker is awesome). Our room was simple and small but had everything we needed and it was very clean plus 2 of us were alone in room and had a seperate bathroom which is more then we expected from a hostel.
Also there is a little kitchen and common area that has usefull appliances and tea and coffee for every guest. 



Great location, very clean

The price was quite cheap, although it is also true that Rijeka must not be a very touristy place (there is not much to see).It is less than a 5-minute walk from downtown, and there is a paid parking lot (cheap, and at night it is free).The staff were quite kind to me.I had lost my wallet the day before and I got a lot of help calling to get it (at last, thanks to that, appearance).As pegas, the showers make a lot of noise.I wake up several times when people in the other rooms shower.The rooms are very normal, beds in bunk beds and without much window.

My partner and I needed a stopover to rest from the trip for one night with two dogs a Labrador is a small size meticulous. my partner booked on booking.com and for 50 euros we booked a room at the discretion of the small owner. when we got there C was a topia from one meter to two I'm not joking and a castle bed thrown inside that I don't know how they pay to get the pieces in to mount it. the place we were peeing in the window without even the curtains and it was supposed to be said that it was closed for. the casino continued the air conditioner on the head of the person who slept on the bed at the castle rather crap a crap one.

It's a joke.

We booked a room through Booking.com and received the standard confirmation. We had the address of the hostel and needed several attempts on foot to locate it, needing to abandon locating it whilst driving. There is a tiny cardboard sign on the window of an abandoned building with a sign in front advertising a non-existent cafe at the street address, indicating the the hostel is on the second floor. We climbed the stairs and found the reception, with a warm welcome by the sweet receptionist. When we pointed out that it was very difficult to find the hostel, she agreed, apologised and said that they were new and were not allowed to put a bigger sign at the front. We suggested that an email prior to arrival with some directions would have been appreciated and she again agreed. 
We were then surprised to find after checKing in and logging into the wifi that we had been sent an email earlier in the same day asking us to indicate our arrival time......but nothing about how to find them! (We had booked several days previously.) so we laughed at their priorities.
The room was ok, the bathroom was falling apart, toilet seat broken, shower fell off the wall whilst I was using it, towel rail fell off......it was a budget hostel but you don't expect things to literally fall apart. We described some (not all) of these issues in a review on Booking.com and received a reply from the owner "you want 5 star hotel, pay 150 euro"...... Not exactly keen on customer feedback.......

Old quiet atmosphere with shared kitchen spacious and shiny rooms (no closet but with furniture to store clothes) not in the center but nearby, we found ourselves well but could be a little more welcoming.
