The staff is very friendly and provides great tour suggestions to the park. It is very conveniently located to the park if you plan to visit, a 2-min walk to the main entrance. The room is clean and sufficient.

Got 2 rooms:  parents &  kids.  Had air conditioning which worked great.  Maid service was good & daily if you want. Pool was nice place to drink & cigar at night. Right near by the Park entrance.  Convenient  store & Gelato store about 100 - 200 yards from hotel near Park entrance.  Also walk down hill to beach & restaurants.  Decent breakfast.  Had TV, ESPN/NFL was on otherwise everything else in Spanish.  Wifi was good to stream.

(English below) If you want a room and only a room, then we give you a 3 star because some rooms have been renovated, but if you are looking for a facility with service or flexibility you are in the wrong place! Unfortunately for this hotel the staff is clearly unhappy and may be mistreated by the management from our observations, but clearly I've never had an experience like this. When we arrive for someone for us, we look for and finally we find. The next day we ask for pool services but we are refused, okay? Another we ask if it's possible to give us our excursion before the driver leaves the restaurant (we've asked for a small lunch included), what kind of breakfast we've had, but we've refused to give our staff a very nice breakfast, but we've refused to give us a nice breakfast, but we've refused to give us a nice breakfast, but we've refused to give you a nice breakfast, but we've refused to give you a nice breakfast, but we've refused to give you a nice service, but we've refused to give you a nice service,

Never seen this before!

Hotel administration disables electricity from 3 to 5 am, leaving the guests without means to freshen the room in a very hot night, as rooms have no windows to open. We stayed here over other places looking for a night of comfort near by the park. It would have been better staying with the fan-based room at the cheap hostel near by. 
I won’t return nor refer this place to anyone, ever.

Disabled electricity during the night

Older hotel and a bit tired, but only 200m from the Park entrance and 400m from the beach.  Friendly and efficient Reception (Juan Carlos) who arranged our excellent park guide (Henry) and our tours, US$70 for a clean Standard room with good bed, small attached bathroom, A/C with good TV and internet, adequate breakfast.  DId I mention it was only 200 metres from the park entrance?

Very good hotel near the National Park, near the beach of Manuel Antonio. The reception area and the girls of the excellent restaurant. La Habitación Deluxe are very nice, seated, with air conditioning, mini-refreshments, TV, safe. El desayuno muy rico a typical Costa Rican with refill of coffee. The perfect pool and at night and maintenance so that the next day is ready for use. will definitely come back.

Good hotel, good location, good treatment.

There's a gentleman who every meal he orders, he brings the order, basically a three-table, he'll make three trips to the kitchen.

Out of my head

If it's the location, it's the right hotel because it's a stone's throw from the park entrance, the rooms are clean and discreet but the reception is poor and breakfast is even more! we only had coffee because the rest was inedible and poorly served.

Little attention to customers

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a guided group with Exodus. Initial impressions not good, exterior grounds are scruffy. Hotel management not very friendly, we were told we couldn’t use the chilled water at breakfast to fill our drinking bottles. My room was in a refurbished block and surprisingly good but the other single traveller in our group was allocated a dreadful room and when she complained was offered a worse one. Has a nice pool though and breakfast was good. Best thing is that it’s only 5 mins walk from the national park.

Scruffy exterior and very variable rooms

Nice place close to the trail head. They let you park there while your in the park for the day also.
