Lovely and clean while in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent.

We had a very good stay in this schedule place in the rain forest. Staff were so friendly and made our stay a pleasant experience.

FABULOUS!!!!!!  The cottage is adorable, comfortable, and has gorgeous views!  The property is also beautiful, has a pool and a dining area where you can eat all or any meals and is not far from Manuel Antonio and Quepos. If you want to plan an outing, the friendly staff is super helpful. The best part, I think, is it’s connection to Kids Saving The Rainforest.  Our family has toured almost every wildlife rescue center in Costa Rica and this one is a favorite! In fact, we love it so much that we’ve been back to visit multiple times and even volunteered for 7 to 10 days twice! We highly recommend both these cabins and the adjacent KSTR!!

A friend and I visited the KSTR facility and stayed at the Blue Banyan Inn in the Hibiscus Cottage. It is such a lovely cottage - high ceilings, bright interior, lots of large windows, huge bathroom and a big back porch. We had an excellent view from the porch. The cottage is also a 30 second walk from the pool, the restaurant/cafeteria and the office. The staff was friendly and helpful! We had a small issue with the air conditioner and it was fixed immediately. The rooms were spotless from the cleaning service. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent!

Perfect get away from the crowds of tourists in Quepos. Beautiful ,comfortable , modern 3 cottages on the spacious well maintained property. Very good breakfast included. Other meals options available. Super nice and helpful staff.We liked it so much that we extended our stay.

After a dirt track in the middle of a palm plantation several kilometres long, we finally arrive at this oasis of peace and enchantment. Everything was perfect. Chief Chip, who welcomes you with great affection and kindness, the immense, beautiful lodges and impeccable cleanliness, an exceptional place where we have had the chance to see beautiful toucans, aras and especially a small cat in the wild. But also fantastic meetings in this place that welcomes volunteers to lend a helping hand to the abused or abandoned animal shelter.

A little bit of quiet.

How to summarize our stay at BB Inn... great comfort in an isolated natural environment! The rooms are perfect, the garden and the swimming pool too. You need a vehicle to get there and preferably a 4x4. You will cross a beautiful palm tree. We spent two days there.

Mildly adventurous journey to arrive at the quiet, secluded location in the forest. The private room was large, spacious, attractively decorated with beautiful views of the garden and forest on three sides. A firm and extremely comfortable bed - much appreciated after the long drive from San Jose. A lovely, generous, fresh breakfast was a great start to our next day in the warm, hospitable and interesting company of Chip, the founder of the wildlife sanctuary attached to the Blue Banyan Inn. We only overnighted here as we were on our way to the Osa Peninsula but would certainly recommend staying here to avoid the traffic and noise of Manuel Antonio or the busy town center Quepos. 

Lovely Garden Retreat

I went on vacation to Costa Rica and we went to Quepos because it’s a nice area close to the beach and close to the natural parks. Also I recommend going to the warm water springs.
We loved the Blue Banyan Inn because it has a family feel, and they have great customer care.
It’s nothing too fancy, but it’s great value for your money!
The owner is American so no problem with English and they have a swimming pool, breakfast and the rooms have air conditioning.
I liked that they also work to care for the wildlife in the area, and create excursions and tours to see them.
All with all I recommend it and I would certainly come back.

Great Place to stay at

The structure is excellent: inside a palm tree and completely immersed in the jungle. More than the rooms were really nice mini apartments with all the comforts. Breakfast is very abundant that you can't miss. Very nice the owner. For a fee you can, if you want, take a tour of the sanctuary next door where there are many animals; the sanctuary is run by the staff of the hotel. A tip: if you stay only one day, I wouldn't recommend it because it's not so close to Quepos, it's about 25 minutes by car. Instead, if you stay there for several days and don't want the chaos of Manuel Quepos and Antonio Parque, then it's great to relax and feel out of the world.
