The rooms are very comfortable and with good space. The kitchen is organized, and is very close to the central park. Everything is really close and very comfortable to move around.

Excelente Hostal it is very close to the center of the town we stayed in room number two which had an excellent view and it was very spacious, the only bad thing was there was no WIFI even though they advertised they had.

The discovery of a circuit in Colombia

Before we stayed at this hostel we had asked for other options and when we were about to decide we met with LOS GUADUALES, Mr. John gave us the best options for the 4 and very carefully showed us the rooms in addition to the fact that we improved the price in a very favorable way, we did not think about it any more and stayed as the room looked like a hotel because of the amenities, our private bathroom and the cleanliness of the hostel in general, we were very happy because they also left us the suitcases and guided us in the best way about our doubts about the place. A special thanks to Andrea at the reception who treated us wonderfully, definitely come back Pd.: If you have the opportunity to try the hamburgers that are in the corner of the hostel, they have normal, and they have a very affordable price and they love to keep the vegetables very affordable:)

Very economical, very personal, very friendly and excellent education.

We booked Los Guaduales with booking. When we arrived, we were told that there was a problem with the bathroom and that we couldn't stay. They offered us a room in their other hostel (Hostel Bamboo), for the same price. The hostel had a much lower standard, and no hot water. When we went back to Los Guaduales and requested to use a communal bathroom (although we had paid for a private one) in order to get hot water, they would not let us do that. We also noticed that Los Guaduales was full of other guests, apparently not problem with the toilets after all! After a long argument they gave us money back for one night and we went on to find MUCH better accommodation in Salento. The attitude of the owner was awful, and I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Salento is full of beautiful places to stay with lovely people who are passionate about hospitality. Support them instead.

Very poor service

We almost never returned, we felt so much pleasure that it was sad to leave the village and especially the place where we were staying, Mr. John is a very kind person, mindful that we would not miss anything.

How to live at home.

We stayed 3 nights at the hostel.The staff is friendly and inform you about the tourist attractions of the area.We asked in several places and this was the cheapest (we have to regate a bit, as in all).The rooms are clean and comfortable.The shared bathroom is clean and with hot water.Good wifi connection and has a kitchen.I recommend a place in Salento!

A good place to be.

My boyfriend and I found this place just wondering around. It gave us the best price for a double room, the cheapest we found in town, we had a double room for 40.000 pesos. The bathroom is share and the hostel also offers a shared kitchen. Everything was always very clean. The staff is very friendly and help us find the best restaurants and gave us advice on the best route to clim in the Valley. Moreover it is a 1 minute walk to the main square. Definitely recommend this place.

nice place, clean and in the centre

We stayed there for few nights. Nice and budget hostel with nice staff. Clean bathroom! First we checked in in the centrum, hostel on the main street. After two nights we decided to stay there for two more days but receptionist informed us, it is not possible because our room  we r currently staying in is already booked. We were disappointed. Cos when you are a backpacker and want to relax , settle in one place/room then you dont feel like packing and unpacking everything every single day. But anyway they offered us a different room in their hostel, few minutes far from the center, just across the bridge. We moved there, although it wasnt as nice. But ok and clean;) the overall is good!;) wifi worked well.
