Located in a beautiful neighbourhood, the Hostal La Colina is a great place to stay in Cali, Colombia. It's a huge house, with large rooms and nice bathrooms, and the neighbourhood is quiet at night. It's managed by the owner of the house, a very kind and interesting colombian ingeneer. They serve delicious breakfast, have laundry service, hot water, cable TV, wireless internet, etc. Very close to the hostel are restaurants, Walmart-like stores, cafeterias, bus lines, etc. I recommend 100% to stay at this place, and it's not expensive: on october 2008 I paid 50.000 colombian pesos for night, and stayed 4 nights.
