I stayed in this hostel for fifteen days and I was asked to leave the establishment because I made the unforgivable mistake of washing four clothes in the shower and extending them to the garden sun. Nobody is perfect, if one violates the rules, the hostelero has the right to reproach the Hostelero al Huperoésped for his behavior, not the grasses or the forms. Seitos me, to leave the hostel under the pretext of calling Migración Colombia. I stayed for two days of stay, which under the concept of I must subscribe, for having been dismissed from the Hostel.Trustless disappointment, the lack of elementary education is absolutely unacceptable.

Hostel or Military Quarter?

Camila and Cindy are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable about Bogota and La Candelaria. The hostel is very bohemian and beautiful located right in Candelaria's heart. I stayed in one of the tepees and it was an amazing experience, very unique and although Bogota is kinda cold at night I was very warm all night. I loved it so much that I was supposed to stay one night and I ended up staying a whole week.
Breakfasts were made by Camila, they were very filling and delicious and varied, every day was a different meal!
The living room is open and large, I met wonderful hosts as the space is perfect to chill. The backyard is perfect for a morning meditation or even tanning hehe.
I've stayed in several hostels in Candelaria and Ulucaho has become my favorite place to stay when visiting Bogota.
Highly recommended!!

Lovely hostel

Besides being economical, the cultural exchange is very interesting It has enough tourist information for non-traditional destinations such as Guaviare Colombia, a convenient transmillennium card to travel cheaply in Bogota.

The atmosphere is pleasant.

Our double room was superb and came with a toilet and a very hot shower with excellent water pressure. The hostel is conveniently located, has superb breakfast in the morning and free coffee during the day. There is a great kitchen area to cook and The staff were very friendly - can’t complain about a thing.

Cosy room in Candelaria

I booked a twin room but we were put in a 4-bed room for no extra charge. Beds were warm and cosy, bathroom was clean, kitchen facilities seemed good although I didn't use them. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is really handy for checking out La Candeleria, museums and restaurants. The highlight for me was the amazing breakfast, best I've had in a Colombian hostel - croissants, eggs, hot chocolate, coffee, kiwi, banana and papaya. Fairly quiet and chilled hostel.

Great, relaxed hostel

We stayed 10 days in this small hotel, the term family boarding house would be more appropriate.Room 1 is large with bathroom and W.C.; the other rooms are small.I recommend room 1.This boarding house is very well located compared to the central district of the Candélaria, you can walk to the various museums and the very busy and pedestrian carrera 7, as well as walk to the funicular that leads you to Monserrat.A friendly boarding house; you can also leave your luggage if you leave late.

Family reception

An economical accommodation in the heart of Bogotá's historic center. The atmosphere is cheerful, all the staff very available and kind. There are several private rooms with bathroom and I think larger rooms, including a Tepee in the garden! The latter gives a special touch to the entire structure. Very suggestive views of the mountains from the back. Our room was quite modest but functional. Definitely a good solution for backpackers.

Good value for money

Very welcoming and thoughtful staff. A nice little garden in the heart of Bogotá. Good breakfast. Very well located to visit the historic center. Also close to the funicular station.

Resting

We arrived in Bogotá for the start of our trip to Colombia. The hotel is super well located in the Candelaria neighborhood you can do everything on foot. The reception is very friendly the manager speaks French. We slept in the tipi which was comfortable just a little cold at night... bathroom and toilet common but proper and above all a warm shower! Breakfast served and included in the price every morning quite correct and friendly. Wifi at the top! Briefly a good experience!

It's an original inn.

The hostal is wonderful colorful. It is located very central in a nice neighbourhood close to museums and everything you would like to see in the old town of Bogota. The staff in the Hostal is very friendly and they help you with everything. It is very clean there. And the included breakfast is made a la minute for you.We will definitly come back, if we come again to Bogota! Gracias por todo
