Holiday Inn Express Tianjin City Centre Fitness Center

This is a GREAT hotel. We opted for It because it was cheaper than those looking over the river, and the great reviews. No disappointments!  The staff is superb, the breakfast amazing (we stay for 5 nights and there were different options every day), the rooms are flawless, amenities of good quality, wifi fast and stable, no complaints whatsoever. The only we could ask for is a heating system for the gorgeous indoor pool, unfortunately too cold to be used. One needs transportation to the main attractions, but taxis are affordable and traffic - at least the time we were there - very very easy.

Hotel is well located with shopping malls within walking distance. Room is spacious and looks like recently renovated.Stayed on 19th Flr with unblocked view. Breakfast was included with fairly wide chinese selection and limited western menu. Good wifi and hotwater.
Major issue was the aircon and seems like it was never upgraded as it was not possible to cool the room inspite of the technicien coming and fiddling with it.
House keeping was not satisfactory as the room was not made up the next day and we had to call to get it done. Self service laundrymat available.

It lived up to what is expected from a Brand Hotel. Front Desk were pleasant n helpful. We landed at 8 in Tianjin after a 6 hour flight n was treading to wait till check in. We arrived at the hotel at 10ish n was overjoyed when they gave us our room early...so a big thank you to the front desk staff...always helpful n accomadating. They speak English fluently as well. The hotel is meat n tidy...breakfast is basic but adequate the food is labelled wat is suitable for vegetarians. Overall good ecperince...location is good walking distance to Shopping street. Will definately use Holiday Inn Express again.

Worth a Stay

This hotel needs a bit of money spent on it. The carpet in the room and the entrance area  look pretty sad. The outside doesnt look very good at all. The rooms are basically O.K. and the free breakfast O.K. The service was excellent

A bit run down

Me and my siblings stayed for weekend. The receptionists are very helpful from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Thank you Front Office team for your wonderful service😄

The room is a little outdated but its ok. However, the bed and pillows are comfortable. However, the room we stayed has no amenities.

Breakfast needs to improve. Less selection of food is acceptable, however, all the food that serve at the buffet were either salty or no taste at all. Plus, the juices, milk and soya milk has no taste at all. And it seems they mix it with 80% water. We suggest, your Food and Beverage team will look for this matter.

Again, thank you very much for your good service and we will definitely recommend it to our family and friends😄

Ok hotel except the breakfast

It was a horrible stay. when we arrived we found all receptionist were sleeping and we tried to wait them up. After that they could not find our reservation. We were very tired and we lost two hours from 1:30 am to 3:30 am to check-in . and at the end they took more money than the old reservation and because of them we lost a day to find another hotel. 
we were so hungry as we stayed long time for check-in s we asked for a in room dinning so they told us that they don´t have Food and beverage service so we slept hungry in uncomfortable place and the breakfast was horrible and plates were not clean it was the worst place i have stayed in ever!
