I am pleased to have stayed in this appartment complex. The security was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. When things needed fixing the were very quick to act. I had problems with connecting to the internet, they were there within a few minutes to help.
The location is excellent with a very short walk to the subway station, around the corner was a wonderful food market where most things you might need could be bought, banks were in the same block also and ATMs available.
In the adjacent street were many eating places of usual Chinese quality.
A walk around the adjacent blocks provide an insite into Chinese culture, there is a wonderful park nearby where all sorts of activities can be viewed in the mornings and evenings and is a wonderful place to relax. I would highly recomend this place to stay, it is quiet and a private
place to stay. There was a problem with Taxi s finding it but it is next to the KK100 building so that is no problem.
The room was good with airconditioning, a fridge,cooking stove,  washing machine, tv etc, drying clothes only takes a short time due to the heat, just hang them on the rails provided on the small balcony. A good tip is to keep the windows and doors closed to the balcony and laundry to keep the cool air in.

A nice stay

We stayed at one of their apartments for around 3 days in the middle of summer 2012, and it was not a very enjoyable time. For one, it's located near a number of malls and the area is generally not very interesting (unless you would like to shop at some very expensive stores, mainly selling clothes).

The air conditioning did not work very well and could only keep the bedroom cool enough to sleep in (this was in the middle of summer, but guangdong is fairly warm year-round). The apartment is very very small, so much so that it's difficult to move around in. There is a kitchen, though you need to ask the reception, which is on another floor of the building, for any kind of pots or pans. There is a washing machine, but almost no room to hang clothes. There is a fridge, which seemed to be working well enough. There is no wifi, but if you ask reception, they will send someone to connect a router (or a switch, I'm not really sure) so that you can connect via ethernet. The connection is 1Mbps, so not very fast, but I suppose it's enough if you only need to check mail and news or whatever.

We tried to spend as much time outside of the apartment as possible, even walking through the malls just to stay cool. There is a Starbucks nearby, so you can get free wifi, coffee and A/C there if you really need it. 

What happened when we left was where things got very frustrating. We had a flight at 7am, so we had to leave at 5am, and the day before, we notified the manager of this to make sure there was someone to take our key and give us the deposit, but when we were leaving, there was no one at reception, so we couldn't give them the key and get our money back. We left, but missed our plane and ended up in the airport all day, and when we got back, my wife called the manager (or owner, I'm not sure which) to figure out how to get the key and our money both in the places they belonged. The manager wanted us to send the key before he returned the money, but my wife felt he should give us the money first. They ended up arguing over it for a while and eventually the manager said he would call the police. Then, my wife told me that the receipt they gave her had the wrong name on it, and that the place is probably not licensed, so she told the manager he should call the police. So far, the key and the money have not been returned.

I suggest staying away from this place, it's better to spend a little more money on a hotel that is actually a hotel and has services that are reliable and a room that is comfortable.
