165 reviewsBeing a locally managed and owned guest house, the room in this place is impeccably clean and comfortable. We especially like the balcony. We also appreciate the passionate butler, who is always there to answer your questions. Although he doesn't speak much English, he is very handy in using the translation apps. We took a tour arranged by Wei Min the butler (which was more reasonably priced than the other online platforms) and we were given a bag full of oranges, snacks, drinks and tissue paper for an 8 hour tour too. We loved the attention to detail! Even when we had to check out early and couldn't have breakfast, we were given a pack of simple breakfast. The guest house is surrounded by some small locally owned restaurants. What we enjoy even more is the eco park behind the hotel and the peaceful surroundings, away from traffic but only 5kms from the city center. If you love a homey feeling of a guest house and want to avoid the crowds in branded hotels, this place is strongly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Note: Wei Min arranged for a taxi drop-off service at the Highspeed train station. The driver was the best taxi driver we met anywhere in Asia. Because we arrived at the train station 1.5 hours too early, we went straight to look for food instead of getting into the station. He saw that and came back to ask if we were okay. He even asked to see our train schedule to make sure we didn't miss it. Again, another impressive service and care we rarely come across.
