I've been to this hotel already several times in the past years for some sport competitions in the Beijing area. The quality of the rooms can vary a lot depending on which you end up. Some are very good looking and newly restored, while others smell like smoke, without A/C and old furniture. I was in both, and sure there is a big difference. The food is ok, but always the same, the gym has turned into a staff dormitory, so look elsewhere for your indoor workout. 

Fancy hotel, big differences in the rooms.

It's a hotel with a nice lobby, but it needs a major renovation of the rooms, with damp spots on the ceilings of the room and bathroom, the carpet needs a good thorough cleaning.

It's a pity.

I have never rated anywhere on trip advisor as terrible until today. I stayed here with a group on a tour. I will start with the good. The hotel had nice new bed linen and towels and the water pressure was strong and that’s about it. Rooms were decaying with mould, water damage, frayed and ripped carpets.  Cleaning is perfunctory at best and in some rooms non existent, the rooms reek of cigarette smoke to the point of making you feel ill. There is no way that this place is of international standard. It appears from the signage in the lobby that the place is undergoing renovation shortly. This is desperately needed so this review may not be relevant for long 

Not Good 

Very complete rooms. Available dressing room. Perfect dryer. Zapatillas, albornoz, toothbrush and paste, moisturizer... (no charges with toiletries) Wifi...free but don't forget WeChat, essential. Electronic safe, forgotten about it (negative: no batteries) The double bed...of 1.5 m!!!. Views to the main avenue. Perfect! If you like coffee, prepare a plus. Here it's very good but very expensive as in all of China (and you won't find it everywhere) In the night bar they serve up and have a detalle for the customer. Crico and perfect for walking to visit the surrounding area. Cercano a shopping center and meet English problems. If you find no problems, you can also enjoy a safe and easy to solve afternoons in an app!

Perfect, with all the pluses.

This hotell is close to Tian Tan park and Hongqiao market, but Tian Tan Hotel is very cold when you shall check in to this Hotel you meet Staff with bad attitude the first staff shall say is welcome but they ask after passport give you key don't tell you what I can found elevators and where I can found breakfast room. Breakfast is very poor and cold in the breakfast room no service, most of the food is Chinese but they have also some foreigners . The room is old And dirty. So I can not recommendation this hotel for foreigners if you want to have good breakfast ,good service and attitude and warm in lobby and rooms.

No recomendation

The hotel was booked by the tour operator. Not that I was expecting a luxury hotel at the price, but the hotel got into the years, there was probably a water damage because the paint was off the ceiling, the wallpaper had already been torn down in some places and the carpet was covered with stains. Also the bathroom had got into the years. The shower head was calcified, in the corners molded, shower curtain needed renovation. It was amazing how clean it was, the towel on the bath floor was always white. The location is near the temple, but there is absolutely nothing outside. There is no hostel or anything like that around the evening, because to spend a nice evening in the hotel and not to get to the sky, you don't have to take long walks to get to the hotel.

Group travel

My friend and I had booked with a travel group in China and actually stayed in this terrible hotel for three nights. My friend and I booked another hotel on Booking.com the same night, because it was a guilt to spend even one night in this room. The carpet was so crooked, the bathroom wasn't just on the ceiling mold, the window to the side of the street couldn't be closed, the wallpaper fell off the walls, it smelled of smoke. This can be confirmed by the other participants in the group.

Just disgusting.

In comparison to some of the other places we stayed in on our trip this was one of the best although I am in agreement with some of the other reviews on here. There was mould and damp on the shower and a strange smell in the room. The carpet had obviously just been cleaned as it was still wet when we arrived. Breakfast was good with lots of different options something for everyone. As I say I liked it but it was after staying in some really bad places :)

Group visit

Great location - Good size room - Although a non smoking room it smelt badly of cigarette smoke, we looked at another room in the hotel but it was the same. Carpets & soft furnishings including curtains were all marked with cigarette burns & various stains. The rooms need refurbishment. Breakfast ok

The room is a bit dated. Bed is making noise sleeping on. Their seminar hall is big & well equiped with modern facilities. Food are delicious, staff are friendly. Strategic located nearby commercial area & attraction points. Bus & train station are nearby
