The room smells of cigarette smoke all the time eventhough i booked for a no smoking room. I observed that the rooms in the entire floor were all for smokers. Cigarette smoke smell is coming out from the rooms.  I asked for another room but the receptionist told me that there’s no available room. He should have informed me from the start that they don’t have a no smoking room!

Frustrating hotel

I would like to say that I am not going to say anything about this hotel, which is priced according to the service it provides.

My companion and I booked a night in this place (I don't feel like calling it a hotel). From the outside it immediately gave us a bad impression: the facade is not the most neat and on the ground floor there is a very noisy place. We still entered confidently into the tiny entrance covered with carpets, where a man made us charge and then assigned us a room, which at first glance seemed appropriate to its price, despite the absence of lamps (only lamps attached to the ceiling with wires), the fat veneers and the air conditioner of the ground floor. Unfortunately, however, after a more careful examination, I found that the bed did not dry on the blanket cover, it even had macros, and we had to go to the bathroom, but we were going to the hotel, and we were going to the bathroom, and we were going back to the room! We were going back to the room, but we were going back to the room, and we were going back to the room, and we were going back to the room, and we were going back to the room, but we were going back to the room

Don't go there for no reason!!

The reception is practically nonexistent. They don't help you at all, they don't provide any service except to charge you. Then you're on your own. They don't have an elevator, they don't help carry your suitcases to the room (so you have to climb three floors per staircase with your suitcases). The common parts are disgusting, dirty, smelly. The place seems rather unsafe. On one occasion, at dawn, we were knocked out of the bedroom window (we settled on a third floor that looked like a roof), once we couldn't get into the hotel because there was a pretty aggressive fight at the entrance and no one from the hotel was doing anything. The feeling that being in the hotel isn't pretty, you don't feel safe. The aspects: The accommodation is excellent. The bathroom in the same rooms.

Looking for something better!!!

We spent 2 nights here, and all the reviews on here are true, nobody to greet you at reception upon arrival, the stench of stale cigarette smoke is unbearable. It's not great on the plus side it does have a good location and the room was quite big. 

Awful

Bed bugs. I was eaten in my sleep. Dozens of painful bites. When I told the manager the next day he seemed to know the problem. He just raised his shoulders and refused to pay me back. The place is dirty, noisy, unhealthy. I went alone (woman of 29) and I was scared. Yet I am an avaricious traveler who has been around the world in a youth hostel. The excellent location of this hotel does not at all compensate for all its disadvantages.

Beds and bed nets

The worst hotel (already the word hotel is inappropriate) I've ever been to in my life. A real stumbling block: dirty, decadent, frequented by unrecommended people, in our room, above all, it was raining.

To be avoided

Glowing edges, unwelcome hospitality, questionable DRC attendance, shady room, dirty sheets, minimalist equipment in a room with no view, uncomfortable smell of smoke that disturbs sleeping and permeates clothes, electrical installation that is at least exotic if not dangerous, no breakfast but you wouldn't want to take it there because you just have a rush, it's running away from the place.

It's just horrible!

I made a reservation via the Hostelworld.com website which sent me a confirmation and withdrew a deposit. The day before I left I contacted the hotel to inform it of my arrival time and surprised it had not confirmed my reservation while still I had the booking reference from Hostelworld and my bank account debited from the deposit; I have not been refunded since despite my many relaunchs. To avoid absolutely!!!

Not reliable

Very rustic hotel, minimalist facilities; no storage in the bathroom, no night table or bedside lamps, with a first room for dirty sheets; very noisy car located near a busy intersection; no parking included, you will have to park your car in a private, expensive, paid parking lot; the only positive thing is its location and price in Toronto.
