I was at the beginning of a six-day trip to go around the Gaspésie in Spyder (three-wheeled motorcycle). I had a small motel room at the back of it. A rather old but very clean motel and convenient for a single night's stay. Well-marked posters in the room mentioned that if you wanted to run the coffee shop or the microwave, don't forget to turn off the portable air conditioner. Special, but you can't say you're not smart. So I didn't have any problem with a jumping switch (breaker). The hotel is less than a mile from the historical museum of Pointe-Pinssoir, which I visited in Quebec City, and the Impressive Works of Art museum in Quebec City, Quebec.

It's a rather old motel, but very clean and convenient for a single night.

Very small room. With the luggage, we're very narrow. Very clean. Good quality price ratio. Hard bed. We couldn't get a room in the back of the building even though we had booked well in advance.

Net price and quality ratio

We were welcomed moderately, even quite poorly. Then I realized that they had charged me a higher rate than the one announced on Booking. That's where it was disaster. At the reception, I was told that they didn't know how to use their new terminal to repay me. In short, they made me pay $23 more than the price announced on my card, then they took away $23 and dust from my cards. They finally paid me back $46 at the end of the day. I went to the reception several times to find out where they were. I was very well received both times and not a word of an animal passed by the next day.

Horrible reception

...yes but it's not new anyway! otherwise Bernard makes your stay enjoyable and helps you prepare for the next one in RIMOUSKI and elsewhere and understand the mindset of Canadians.

The luck of having the apartment...

A small motel that does not pay for a discreet mine with a small comfortable room and especially a large bathroom (large shower). A very special mention to Bernard who is the boss. He has been able to take his time to tell us about his establishment that he has held for many years but above all to explain and guide us through the Gaspésie with precision and exceptional knowledge. Better than a guide, besides, he will give you quite a lot of documents on the tours to do. I 100% recommend this establishment.

We stayed here on 25 July. The owners are very welcoming and exemplary kindness. Several wise advice on activities and restaurants in the area, all accurate, well detailed and most of all very appreciated. Our small room is very clean and very comfortable for our small stay. Hotel is very close to the submarine and two steps from the city centre. Special mention is given to Bernard (reception) who is a lover of his area and who has been very good at welcoming and guiding us. We recommend this establishment to you.

Small motel well located in Rimouski with very small clean rooms, renovated floors and bathroom but very small shower, cafeteria, refrigerator and air conditioning floor, small window that can be opened for less than $100.00

Little Motel

On the national coast there is this hotel which is beginning to get old and needs to be renovated, but the reception is very nice, it is French, and the rooms are large and comfortable, despite the noise of the road, especially in the early morning.

Good hotel for a short stay

Although the bedroom and bathroom are clean, the experience is truly below Quebec standards. The owner, who smells like the bottom of the ashtray, has changed his attitude. I understand that I was supposed to be the fourth customer of the day, but being treated like a stay-at-home mom has insulted me rather.

Unfriendly owner and very hard mattress

The motel is old, and my room was tiny, but everything was spotless and appliances and bathroom fixtures were new. Very friendly owners. I’d stop here again. It’s close to the Pointe-au-Pere historic lighthouse site, too.
