The Rimouski Motel is a very nice place to see the river and the sunset. But the owner of this motel was arrogant. We asked him for coffee, we were told I had no more, to go to Tim's next door. What a welcome!!!! Besides, the coffee machine was not clean, mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are so soft.

Right by the river, the place is beautiful. The building is very modest, but the view is more than the disadvantages. The bed is uncomfortable, however.

A perfect place in spite of everything

The view from the room was gorgeous. The motel was well located. I loved seeing the sunset in front of our room. But the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We canceled our second night because we didn't sleep very well. Also, dogs barked non-stop in the room next to ours.

One night

I stayed at this place for a little over 3 weeks and I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place! It's a simple and very clean room. The staff is smiling and courteous. Besides, the courtyard and the sea view are wonderful. Very nice experience!! I will definitely go back there. :)

Calming and Kind

My room was smallish and old however it was spotless. Incredibly well cleaned. Upon arrival I noticed the smell of humidity but the motel is right by the river and not air conditioned so it's normal I suppose with the window opened. Nice view of the river from the window. As small as it is, the room is equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave oven.  The lady at counter for check-in was super nice. The motel is right off the 132 so you have a quiet sleep without traffic noises. A short walk up the street there is a good family restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's close to downtown Rimouski, a mall and near a nice river view walk. All can be reached by foot. There is also a park a short walk away on the same street where children can play. Good for traveling families if they get the bigger room. There are chairs and picnic tables behind the hotel to relax while looking at the sunset on the river. Some rooms have a patio door, mine did not. A perfect spot to stop when on a road trip going to and from the Gaspésie for a night.

Old but spotless

Old, not very clean, very disappointing, during the shower difficulty with the water that changed from hot to cold. we waited for the neighbors to go to the bathroom no soundproofing. humidity in the room I will not return

One night on vacation

Check your reservation before you leave to make sure you're two people for the same room. What happened to me... for the cleanliness was fine but for our friends not... a long story... small, outdated room. very small bathroom. If you ask for sea view, make sure you have not just a window but patio doors with a small gallery. I won't go back to this motel again.

Problems with booking and billing

Room pretty sparse. Bed comfortable. The view great. Seats out by the St. Lawrence to see the view. Walk to eating. Coffee only in the lobby not in the rooms. A double room was considered a room with one double bed. Wrong.

Basic Room

Motel on the waterfront with a beautiful view. Very old room, crooked floor, bathroom to be refurbished and defrosted, paint towel quickly made and not even of the same colour, mosquito door that opens very badly.Plein pigsty that drags back to the building.No service included for the price.There is a great lack of maintenance.

Did not have our reservation...place was a junk yard !! Very rude owner...does not check e mails from expedia. Would not recommand to my worst enemy!!
