I could not sleep in this hotel. I made a reservation with parking, they tell me they have a parking but they have no parking, the staff is impatient. All entire hotel smells smoke. The room is a nightmare. So I had to look elsewhere to stay. So they refused to pay my money back.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!

It's more a hostel than a hotel, e.g. no breakfast offered, and presumably aimed at a younger clientele. Location very good, close to a metro station that is also serviced by the airport bus, and close to downtown. You need to be able to walk up and down narrow, steep staircases with luggage if you stay there. The owner is very friendly, one needs to be patient with his English skills, but no major problem. Washrooms only available on a shared basis, but clean (depending on the other guests of course). Beds not too comfortable. Rooms warm and humid in summer, even during the night, also rather loud because of its location close to a relatively busy road/intersection. Floors are squeaky and the room doors not soundproof, so if you have a group of people come in late at night, chances are you will be woken up. All in all not a bad deal for a short stay.

OK for a short stay if you're not picky

This place has private rooms with shared bathrooms only. Some of the rooms have no TV or very poor TV reception. There were only 2 bathrooms for use on the floor I was on and over 10 people. Only 1 bathroom had a sink and shower. I stayed here for a few nights and the garbage in the bathroom was not cleared for 3 days! The toilet seat had dried piss stains on it and the sink taps had some yellow foreign material on one tap. There are no fans in the bathrooms so after someone showers the whole bathroom is wet including the floors. No bath mats are offered at all. And there is only 1 shower for all those people. There is also only 1 shower on the first floor for a number of people. It is really annoying, and considering their low rates, some real down and outters were staying there, including a few juvenile delinquents who broke a window and ran up and down the stairs till 3am and poured juice on the bathroom floor, making it very sticky in the morning. Recently, there was a large group of students staying there and they were pretty dirty and noisy. The owner, who runs the place and cleans it, is not around at night. So there is no security there at all. He needs help in cleaning and running the place but his main goal seems to be taking your money first and foremost. There is a communal kitchen on the first floor which had a filthy microwave but the owner eventually cleaned it after the group of delinquents poured sauce in it. I had to bring this to his attention or it would have been overlooked I am sure. I told him about the build up of garbage but he still would not remove the garbage for another day or two. There are lots of stairs too and no lifts. So prepare to do a lot of climbing of steep stairs. Especially if you want to get down to the kitchen. When you arrive, you have to ring the doorbell, and when the owner finally rings you in, it`s another bunch of very steep stairs to climb up. He has trouble speaking and understanding  English too. This place is ok for 1-2 nights if you want to save money but that`s it.

Dirty! One step up from a flophouse.

For $150, for two nights, they expected better. There are two sides, we were on the side of the little street, really not top, the brothel in the kitchen, really disgusting. When I saw the pictures of the clean kitchen, it made me smile. I don't have the main street side, if it's there, it's cleaner. The positive side is the proximity to the subway and parking places.

The rooms are cleand, spacious and tidy, and the communal bathrooms are too. I spent a couple of nights there, and even got advantage of the kitchen to have dinner like at home, with no need of the restaurant. The staff is kind and polite, the wifi is working perfectly. For the price you pay, this is more than enough.

Clean hotel, minutes away from downtown.

Just a heads up there is an exotic gentleman's massage parlor on the lower level called secret spa, google map the location you'll see it but the owner doesn't bother to mention it online. Hostel style not hotel.

Neglect to inform you about their surroundings

Well, given the price I didn't expect anything exceptional, though some things are not part of something that depends on the price for me. Well, firstly, establishment run by Asians who don't speak French and a rather approximate English, thankfully it's just a room otherwise it might have been more complicated! A first floor to access the kitchen, SDB ect and still a floor to be in the room, yet another effort with the suitcases and we're there. Well, I want to do something that depends on the price. Well, I want to do something in the cliché but who finally says that establishment quickly, says a quiet room and so it's rather approximate, thankfully that it's just a room to heat up: if one wants to break the grain, it might have been more complicated! I probably didn't want to put it in the final clock, but I probably didn't have to go through the window, but I didn't have to read the lamps, but I would have to sleep in the mirror, but if one of my neighbors had to go to the bathroom, I would have to

From the entrance, a huge staircase. It's a little chilly when you've just dragged two 30-kg suitcases from the subway station. Then you're also begging, no French welcome. Then you can access the rooms by... a staircase! Clean carpet to improve. Comfortable beds for adults, but children sleep on the same board that serves as a summer bed. Seriously, or have you passed the mattresses of the overlaid beds?
