I saw the comments, and I think they've been new for a while. Our room was completely renovated (floor: no carpet but floating floor, renovated bathroom). Really super clean, nothing to say about it. We didn't hear the neighbors, but we could still hear the cars in the street (which is not far from the building). The owners welcomed us super well.

We came to Montreal and booked the same day. Because of Queen Victoria's birthday celebration and the pink concert, all the hotels were overbooked. We chose this motel because it was the last solution. The motel is very well located next to the subway (1 minute walk) and the reception is warm. The receptionist is very friendly. We were able to leave the car at the motel all day and visit the city by public transport without worrying about parking or paying for parking in the city. However, the rooms are soundproof (we heard the neighbor's room blowing), and even uncleaned (suspicious tasks on the motel's nightstand, hairs in the bathroom table, tasks in the bathroom). We noticed that they weren't the most suspicious, but we noticed that the bathroom was not in the bathroom. The staff were kind and attentive. The geographical situation was convenient. Unfortunately there were bed bugs and I only noticed them on the second night; I am still suffering the consequences. Also, given the minimal level of soundproofing, I could not sleep because the adjacent room was occupied by loud parties of sado-masochist groups (crying and whipping sounds all night).

The motel was worth for us. We used only for sleep, and spent the day out. The subway station is basically inside the motel, and there are plenty options of restaurants and markets around. You get what you pay for.

Good report quality price

The motel is very well located near a nearby shopping mall metro station,restaurant very close.The negative now we had booked a room on boom inc.com the price was $71.00 per day we had booked for 2 days the price was very right but the room did not look like our expectations.The lobby felt the cigarette,the room carpet was dirty and stained no indication on the exit door to indicate the time of the night TV operation no more indication.I had taken my shower and the water that flowed in the bath took at least 10 minutes to cool down, no running water in the motel room.The second air conditioner was running too quiet to sleep the suite because it was undoubtedly unstable, but the window was not too clean to be indicated.The rest of the bathroom was very clean, so I could not recommend it.

I just needed a place, with parking, as a base to explore the greater Montreal area. I booked because the price was right, the parking was free and convenient and the location met my needs. The first thing I found objectional was the stink of cigarette smoke as I entered the reception area. The motel is old and in need of renovations. On the plus side, the staff was excellent, the parking (free) was plentiful and convenient. The room was old but very clean. I found the motel very quiet, the other travellers friendly and overall, for the price, it was just what I was looking for. The free Wi-Fi was there but extremely slow.

Located close to the Langelier metro station (green line), it is a good base for visiting Montreal... the city centre is 15 minutes by direct line.

The hotel lacks everything, I'd say only the cleanliness is good luck. Staff not very available and almost absent, they don't even bother to speak English, the room just opened immediately smelled of closed and old, bed too small to sleep in two, air conditioning very noisy.

Lack of

We arrived at the Le Marquis motel by chance and, unable to find anything else in the area at decent prices, we were satisfied. The hotel is cheap, but the structure is sloppy (half of the hotel is closed because it burned, I suppose, in a fire), the furnishings are more than dated and the cleaning leaves to be desired.
