Our visit was terrific the food was excellent. The staff and service were wonderful. 
One of my favourite fish & chip restaurants in the city. 
I recommend this place to all my friends and I know they have recommended it to their friends too

Wonderful

Well I know that this was not going to be a fancy hotel but I did expect it to be clean. The front desk didn't seem to care. It started off with the revolting smell in the halls, but carried over into the rooms. The hotel was booked with a block of rooms for a team sporting event. On of the team mom's went and bought Swiffer wet wipes(thankfully there were no carpets in the rooms) When I washed for the 30 min after check in and brought the wipes to show the front desk... His response was sorry. They were black and had tons of hair on the 3 cloths. It didn't stop there... The were burn holes in the bedspread, ripped and broken curtains, mouldy bathroom, holes in furniture, one pillow per queen bed, no towels for the pool, ice dispenser had not worked in ages. 
Like I said the hotel feels grimy.

For what I paid got what I was expecting.  Room needs some deep cleaning.  Steam cleaning carpets and sofa would go a long way to improving the appearance of the facility.  
Maybe update the tv's to something with  HDMI compatibility.
On the upside staff was very friendly.

About what I expected

Outside was unkempt but went in and checked in anyway.  Bad smell in lobby, pool was dirty and room was horrible.  I was afraid to sit on the furniture and stuck to the floors as if I was in a movie theatre.  The only good thing was they refunded my charge so I could leave and find another hotel.  Upon checking out, a customer came in and asked about the $50 special room......so glad I didn't stay!

Dirty and seedy hotel

I have never been to a more awful hotel. First of all this is no longer a Super 8 motel. Its been recently "acquired" by someone who doesn't care! The restaurant is closed, probably shut down due to uncleanliness. Aside from run down rooms and holes the size of my foot , we found pink stuff dripping down the side of the toilets that had not been cleaned up along with hair all throughout the bathroom floor.  Brown stains and holes in the sheets. Bloody kleenex and dead bugs behind beds. Garbage behind fridge. It was so bad my kids slept with their clothes on. If we had any other choice to be somewhere else we would have. Front desk staff didn't care about the state of the room. Public Health should really be involved!!!

AWFUL!! Go somewhere that cares!

We traveled with my family and the advertisement on the road invited us to stay in the Super 8.We believed in misleading advertising, we arrived at 1:00 a.m. Very tired, we expected to find a clean room, but its cigarette smell was unpleasant, the breakfast with few options, only banana fruits and the dining room not perceived seated.
