Excellent owners and transportation services!! Friendly and attentive owner and local driver.  Would recommend for someone who wants to experience another side of Siem Reap and help the local community at the same time.

Highly recommend for anyone travelling to Siem Reap. Sokphen and his family and neighbor went out of their way to assist with our short trip and went above and beyond taking care of us(even cooking for us)! 
The bungalow was nice and clean. He helped us arrange airport pick up and drop off as well as our tour around Angkor Way. It was the perfect local experience,the kindest people we ever met!

Amazing place,kindest family

For my Daughters 13th birthday we left my wife and my 2 sons back home in Hawaii and decided to have an adventure in Thailand and Cambodia. 

1) This is not a “Homestay”, in my opinion this is a true Experience. 

2) Take advantage of all Mr.Phen has to offer. TukTuk rides - Angkor Tours - home cooked meals - local massage - the list goes on and on. 

3) Mr.Phen, his family and the people you will meet from his village are all Khmer people. Do yourself a favor and ask many questions, take advantage of their knowledge and expose yourself to their way of life and the struggles of their people. 

4) Mr.Phen’s hospitality is second to none! He went way out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and even made other arrangements for us. 

My Daughter enjoyed staying at Mr.Phens place and loved his family so much she decided not to head down to the islands for the last leg of our trip and instead extend our stay at Mr.Phen’s Homestay.

This Experience Exceeded my Expectations.
Do yourself a favore and book it for your stay on Siem Reap, I know I will when I go back with the rest of my family.

Above & Beyond

My husband stayed at the homestay while I stayed in town. Sok Phen and his family welcomed me as a visitor one afternoon and evening,which was a very special and meaningful experience on this trip. 
He really tries to help the community where he can, which is just beautiful. 

The homestay itself is, of course, rather basic. This you should know and evaluate before booking. If you go for it, you can be sure to find a clean place with many nice little details despite it being basic, as mentioned before. 



So friendly 

Sok Phen and his family cooking and helping in everything, dinner and breakfast are traditional Kmer, excellent and abundant. The children are fantastic... a real family experience that I really recommend to everyone to better understand the community that welcomes us. There is a typical Kmer wooden house on a terrace available to guests, a unique local with 6 beds and furnished with traditional furniture. A very large walled bathroom with only sanitary facilities without furniture and a large shower on the floor. The house is immersed in a beautiful garden full of flowers and pets and courtyards. Life here is slow, rural and quiet. Very much appreciated the tuk tuk service offered.

A real Kmer experience

My sister and I spent 5 days at Phen's homestay and we never could have imagined that we would be treated with such hospitality & have such an easy experience! We were so pleasantly surprised to feel so taken care of: meals, transportation anywhere we wanted to go, & perfect suggestions for activities. We really felt like we met the real Siem Reap and this experience made us fall in love with Cambodia. A few days before arriving we requested that a friend join us as well and this was absolutely no problem.
If you're looking to experience local life (in a beautiful traditional home) look no further. I would recommend this to anyone!

An unforgettable & true local experience

We had a great experience at Sok Phens Home Stay . Sok Phen and his family welcomed us like we were part of there's. They prepared great food and company. It was a pleasure to stay in such a nice place . Sleeping quarters are clean and comfortable . I couldn't have asked for anything more . Highly recommend anyone to stay there when in the area .

Overnight at Sok Phen Homestay

We didn't come to Cambodia to hang out in the big hotels and we were served. This home stay is typical and charming, look romantic. SokPhen and his family are very kind and besides he took us to visit his entire region with his tuktuk. Not to be missed!!!!
