Location could not be better- dead center of everything but right on the edge so you avoid the lights, noise, and heavy foot traffic. The driver that picked us up (Sun) was amazing and we immediately hired him to be our guy for the whole time we were there. Room was clean with enough space. I plan to go back and plan to go to the same spot.

Amazing location, great staff

They have a rich menu with European and Khmer dishes. But the food is average. The French onion soup which I ate was far from being a French soup. I am making my remarks for the restaurant, not for the hotel.

Average food

It's sad. There's no fridge, no windows, no shower in the $27 room. You can bathe above the toilet, and the towels are dirty and with holes. You can hear the neighbors coming in late, the bell rings. It's very uncomfortable in the room.

The Moon Villa is located about 700m from the Pub Street and Night Market, yet distant enough from the noise of loud music. I was picked up from the airport on time. The staff is good, and kind enough to help in all situations. The room was decent, clean, big enough for me, and all gadgets were perfectly working. Smoking is not allowed in the room, and therefore had to go to the balcony or hall to smoke, which was fine for me. The hotel organizes a wide range of local packaged tours and activities, hence could be requested for further details. They have a fine restaurant in the first floor, beside lobby. The food is in fact better than many restaurants I ate in Siem Reap. The hotel gate is closed sometime between 11 pm to 12 midnight. I got stuck outside for a while on consecutive nights. So, ring the bell and someone will come and unlock the gate for you. Allover, a good budget hotel with good staff, decent room, good restaurant and a superb location. I would highly recommend it.

Budget hotel with a great location

I stayed here for one night during a solo business trip to Siem Reap. I got a double bed room for $17 and it was quite good. Next to pub street. Clean. Well equipped. Has a bar in it and the staffs were quite nice. Would recommend for 2-4 people! 

Clean! Cozy room! Good price! 

After a very disappointing first experience in a city guesthouse, I accidentally fled to the Moon Villa. Good surprise this small hotel is well placed but not in the middle of the cohue. The rooms (ask with window) are clean and have everything necessary. The staff is pleasant and helpful, despite a very limited English. It also offers a restaurant with good price ratio and cooking classes. They can also prepare breakfast packs to take at sunrise in Angkor The price is justified in terms of services. In short, a cozy establishment!

Good compromise

Great location at the entrance to pub street. My room was quiet and clean and the wifi was a strong signal. It's  not a 5 star modern place but my experience was a good one- especially for the price paid. When a clean private a/c room with bath tub and hot shower runs under $15- I get pretty forgiving on the superficial stuff. In short, Slept well, great location, clean and a very good value. I had no issues and would stay again.

The hotel has a very good location, it is possible to walk to the most touristy streets, but you can sleep away from the noise of these.

Buen hotel 

It's not often that you find such poor hotels! The furniture is all old in the room and you can't leave without the bruises, you'll have to pack the bed a couple of times. The prehistoric conde, here it is, probably makes a terrible noise, the cold blowing starts probably an hour after it's turned on, and is located right opposite the bed, i.e. the blowing will be right in the face as if it's not turning.

I'm gonna have to chew some.

Arrival at this hotel for 2 nights, is in the center, but a little hidden from the noise and bustle, very simple, all the little things like the lack of a curtain don't want to describe, it never prevents us from resting) opposite is a beautiful cafe, not one, but a whole bunch.
