We went to Jayavara because a traveller we met in Kampot recommended it. We were not disappointed: we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our stay a lot. Especially Mr. Daro was very helpful and nice and we really grew fond of him.
The hotel is not in the center of the city but you can reach it by TukTuk in about five minutes (2 Dollars).

Best location in Siem Reap

This small hotel is very clean, comfortable and the reception is really amazing. The staff really want to please us and be nice. We speak English very well. The swimming pool is beautiful and clean. The hotel is located just outside the center but there are always tuk tuks on site to take us there in a few minutes for free. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend it warmly.

Very welcoming

This is a good place to stay for sure ,it just seems a bit run down .we have stayed at more than one boutique hotel in Siem reap and rate this one quite highly ,the staff try very hard to make everything fine so do ask if you need anything .the rooms are clean and have good air con .the pool is clean but the tiles need attention !  Breakfast menu could be expanded to include cereal option !Good location close to market with tuk tuk close by .overall it's a good place ,needs a bit of tidying but worth a try ,not the place for a long stay but ok if on a few days temple tour stopover. 

Good place to stay

Lovely hotel which is beautifully decorated. Great reception area and the food was delicious. The pool area was lovely to relax around and swim in. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were lovely and always willing to help. Great location to get to the centre. 

Great place and lovely staff

Had quite high expectations for this hotel but the reality was slightly disappointing. The hotel was one of the more expensive we booked and the hotel did not really represent value for money.

In essence the hotel felt very tired, the pool area was dirty and tiles were loose or broken. The pool water in our first day wasn't very clean.

The rooms were again very tired and not the cleanest we have stayed in. 

One or two members of staff tried to be helpful but others seemed less interested and were not the most forthcoming. 

Food was nice and as long you don't go expecting a four star hotel or take the official pictures as red then you will be okay, but for us it was the worst of the hotels we stayed in in Cambodia.

Slightly Disappointing

I was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. Staff where great, rooms clean, beds comfy, pool refreshing and just far enough away from the centre to get a peaceful nights rest. There's always a tuk tuk if you need one and they always have a smile for you. Could not really ask for more and would stay there again

Relax in the city

The quality price ratio is undeniable, but the rooms are a bit minimal, in the sense that they are quite small, there are no benches on which to support the suitcases and even the bathroom is a bit small with the shower in the middle, which when you do it floods everything. Even the cleaning leaves a little to be desired (in the room there were fitted the cabins of which a super dirty) In the price of the room is included breakfast, good and should be ordered by paper. Also, always included, there is a half-hour massage per person. The staff is very kind and you are very much to book tuk-tuk (for the excursion temples of the temple of defkor) restaurant and buses (in this regard I have appurtained that the person big tickets seem to double the price a little bit, but it is worth a decent percent of the time to visit the Angina pool, but it is very useful when you go to the centre of the hotel.

Relaxing and Modest

Our stay was very spectacular, but it had everything we expected: a quiet room, a nice pool, and nice service. What was particularly noteworthy was that the bed was particularly lovingly decorated. Two towels and our name of flowers and leaves.

Good quiet hotel

The excitement of the present reviews can only be attributed to the low expectations of the reviewers. I can find nothing outstanding about a Spartan, old facility and a bathroom combination without separation (I know only sailing), with only cold water at the sink.

Nice but boundary value

Old room, very clean bathroom, no water pressure, nice and relaxing pool after a day of visiting the temples, and close to the city centre, this hotel remains pleasant.
