It's a quiet, simple place and a good distance from the city centre and the Angkor temple! welcoming staff, satisfactory service because the room is clean and the food is quite good.

Good quality to price ratio

After 6 nights in this guest house, we were very disappointed by the attitude of one of the receptionists for a ticket story! First accepted, the person at the reception comes back to us two hours later with the ticket saying that it is not valid! (What happened during those two hours? Is it really ours?) She screams at us, which roams the Cambodian friends on the street, and threatens to cancel our bus tickets for the next day! What a class! Faced with the upward pressure, we are finally forced to go to the Bank to change the ticket... AMAB is NOT TO RETURN MADAME!!! A nice place with the rest of the staff, but not to avoid such a story!

Shocked!

We stayed at Happy Guesthouse during our six-day stay in Siem Reap. We are delighted with this establishment, and we highly recommend it! A local, authentic and comfortable accommodation. It's already starting super well since they come to pick you up for free at the tuk tuk airport (only 3 dollars will be charged for the airport tax). Very good geographical location: you can walk to the center and Pub Street in less than 15 minutes, while being calm. And in 20 minutes from tuk tuk you can reach the temples of d. The meals at the guesthouse are very good and at a very reasonable price. You will find a chainsaw service (1kg for 1 dollar). The rooms are clean, but you don't need to get all the water at night (approximately 10€).

Stay at the top!

I'd recommend taking an AC room, as ours with only a fan was way to hot. We stayed in 3rd floor, and the windows were towards the sun the whole day. The staff was helpful, arranging a driver to take us around Angkor Wat for 17$ for the "small circuit", and it took about 7 hours. Lounge was chill, good chairs. Was about 5$ to get to the place from the airport with tuktuk.

Very affordable, good conditions for low price compared to other places. Great location - central.

Friendly staff, nice clean room, comfortable bed (despite the hard pillow to be found everywhere), good food in the laid-back restaurant, a quiet guest house at a reasonable price - what more can one ask for?
They can also book bus or boat tickets and organise tuk-tuks.

Happy Guest House well-named

Good quality and price! The hotel is quite affordable. The rooms are simple but clean and business! The team is adorable! Very hospitable and helpful when they can. The restaurant is very good! I tasted Lok Lak tofu and it was a treat. The noodle soup is also very good. My friend tried the burger and it was quite good! The drinks are very good too. We have cold coffee, fruit shakes and everything was impeccable. The hotel and the restaurant are calm, which is good for rest!

Excellent staff, very helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable and five minute walk into town centre.

Good quality price and well situated. Receptionists are lovely, Thed is extremely lovely and professional. Notwithstanding, the staff (mainly women at the bar&resto) are disrespectful, they occupy all the time the only tables where one can eat decently (the other tables have "lying" chaires not adapted to eat correctly), they are angry if you take the table they have appropriated as theirs, they serve you only if you ask them, and forget to bring you what you ordered and do not even apologize. The excuse is "they don't speak English" is unacceptable, if one of them do not understand the guest, she should ask a colleague to help.
