It's a shame for Sofia that they allow a hotel like this to exist in the city center. It's awful!!! It's impossible! It's outrageous! I've never seen such mockery... because hotels like these change your opinion of the city in general.

Shit! Shit!

I hav stayed in edona many times n as  solo female felt fabulous . The staff r amazingly helpful with taxis n things to do I stay in room 102 n this room is long with a corner sofa n child's pull put bed 2 single beds wardrobe bedside cabinets n v big shower room with wet floor.cud b painted better n cud do with new carpet but for the price with view of lion bridge convenience of KFC underneath n many Bulgarian cheap eats almost 24/7 also little everything shops at door great cheap little clothes n shoe shops at door convenience for buses n trains n feels good to walk at night even for solo traveler no frills u can get boiling r lovely cold water from reception free of charge n proximity to gorg bakeries sorts breakfast yes it's not 5 star but also no maids to destroy ur sleep in morning roomcleaned b4 u leave n after electric plug beside bed also bedside light also v v secure door lock cheap n cheerful n really 10 mins from vitosha blvd Lv this wee hotel/hostel 

Cheap n cheerful

Looks nice on the outside . Sign says hotel but it’s a hostel. Corridors are nice until you get to the rooms which you are not allow to see until payment. Disgusting and dirty. Feel like quarantine ! Not worth 1 star 

Avoid 

We couldn't sleep well during the stay because there was too much noise at night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were dirty, the pillows were ruined and dirty. Nobody came to fix the room in the six days we stayed. It was cold in the room too. The only good thing was the subway stop in front of the hostel entrance.

Dirty and noisy

This is not a hotel, it is a hostel with shared bathrooms. It is close to centre, so location is nice. Rooms and bathrooms are old and not so clean, Cigarette smell was all over the floor, and you can hear everyone in neighbours rooms or in bathroom. 

It's a hostel, not hotel

The hotel is very well located in the center, two seconds from the subway. It's not expensive but in return, you shouldn't expect a miracle... the common areas are clean but the rest leaves to be desired.

Practical

If I were to remove the 2 negative points, it would be quite nice. Negative: 1. Attempt to make me pay a large sum. The same kind of English-language reviews that I've seen on this website seem to have paid me modestly. And now, more specifically, here's who will benefit from the information to avoid cheating. Bronze was on 3 nights for 21 euros a day. If I removed 2 negative points, it would be quite nice. Negative: 1. Attempt to make me pay a large sum.

It's a trick and a hoax.

I booked by booking, I made a specific request x have the bathroom in the room (€ 5-6 extra per day), otherwise the rooms have the common bathroom.

Good quality to price ratio

For the money you pay, i think is not a better way to stay in Sofia: 5 minutes from the Main Railway Station, 1o from the city main attraction and 1/2 minutes from the Metro station!

The rooms are not big, but ok, clean when you arrive but you have to keep them clean! If you are with the car, keep in mind they don't have a parking lot close.

Great value and good position

It's mid-October, friendly, responsive staff. The room is relatively clean, dirt is almost invisible. In the bathroom with the mirror, the TV is half-functioning, the closet, the hangers, 2 towels per person. The batteries are cold, the blankets are thin. The comfort on the floor and not very sterile...there are no spaces between the toilet and the shower, as well as a shower, so you can bathe, but everything will be wet.
