Our room was clean and spacious. The beds and shower were comfortable. The hostel has a TV room, a living room with a computer, but no kitchen. The breakfast was very good, with fruits and lots of cake options. There is always coffee and tea available throughout the day.  Although it is located in a central area, near several attractions such as Rua das Flores, it was quiet at night, so we managed to sleep well. The only downside is the wi-fi, which was very slow and unstable.

Great location and breakfast

It's a very nice hostel, very cute place. It looks like a village inside. The breakfast is nice despite its simplicity. 
We came in the winter so the city was very cold. The bedrooms are really cold, they don't provide central heating, only extra heavy blankets which help a lot but for those who are not used to the cold weather it could be a problem. 

Cozy and simple

Staff was kind. But the room for 4 is not good. Old and not well maintained. Building was restored but still very unpleasant. For the price charged, I expected more. Breakfast was too simple. Electrical bath not that much. For a backpacker, may be satisfactory but that's not me. Stay at your own. 

Not that much! 

I'm backpacking trough Southamerica with a friend. we had a double room at the roma "hostel". In America they would call it a motel because it has nothing to do with a hostel. 
And the worst. If you are travelling on your own you need Wifi to plan your next day(s). It's not slow. it just didn't work for a few minutes, then it worked for 3 and so on.

Motel, not a hostel

I highly recommend this Hostel/hotel, it has its own large parking lot, the rooms are large with their respective bathrooms.The breakfast is right, nothing to highlight, the attention is normal, the lack of a little Spanish and English is not more than the receptionists.The area where it is very convenient is about transportation, but at night it is a little rough...

Good location, walking distance to most places and very close to the tour bus (which I recommend). Clean. Decent shower. Staff are friendly however no map was available of the area and they where not very forthcoming with information. No good social area which is odd and no kitchen. Beds are very hard, uncomfortable. Be slightly aware walking around Curitiba at night time.

As a tourism professional it is essential to always know other categories of accommodation and this was the first hostel I knew because I always worked for myself to go from the simplest hotels to the most expensive ones. I live in the city of Curitiba for 1 year and 6 months but the first time I stayed was in 2009 for 15 days in December near the holidays, at that time it was under renovation and is still continuing because it is expanding the property. When I returned to live in April 2015 it updated me again until I found another hostel up to date. It is a hostel that stands out for its magnificent location, in front of a network of modern shopping malls in the downtown area, has a lot of capacity and a whole lot of everything.

Good accommodation and location.

An acceptable place to save money and explore the beautiful city of Curitiba, the breakfast served in very good and the rooms are acceptable, it is located a few meters from the shopping station as a base for going out to eat.

Centrally located economic accommodation.

It was our last stop on our world tour, and I had to take this hostel because of the lack of hotels....although I had my reservations confirmed prior to arrival they offered me only my room selected for the first night, for the second night I wanted to change rooms....the receptionist a @&%#, I went with my wife and pretended to change us to a three-bedroom single bathroom with shared bathroom....obviously opposed me and gave us the corresponding room.....the large and comfortable bed....the normal bathroom, wifi...the breakfast if it was too poor that the yoke was over...save Brazil a tropical country and not to serve fruit juices.Although I knew that for the world it would be expensive....everything I could do in Spain was to cover the minimum rate of personal change....there was a three-bedroom couch, but there was a lot of people in the hotel room, but there was a lot of people in the hotel room, a lot of people in the hotel room, a lot of people in the hotel room, a lot of people in the hotel room, a lot of people in the hotel room and a lot

Good location but abusive.

I met Curitiba in summer in the heat season and stayed in this hostel. To begin with the heat was unbearable, over 30 degrees at night and not a poor ventilator to help, I know, it's a hostel but a ventilator is no luxury. In the bathroom of my room and in one of the beds I wear hair, I think because the cleaning was not done properly. The worst part was that both the building but mainly the bathroom have an unbearable smell of cannery and humidity, so they changed my room together to see if the problem was only where they assigned me, but it wasn't, the problem persisted.
