This property has pretty much what you expect at a Traveldoge. The rooms were affordable and the upstairs and downstairs had individual air conditioning. The food on site was definitely better than what you might expect and was even fairly tasty. The provided airport shuttle was an extra nicetie, even though the airport is a short distance away. The property is also very safe having its own security, though Kasane wasn't dangerous.The biggest drawback was probably the beds. While adequate, they were not the most comfortable. There were also a few power outages while we were there, though the exact cause wasn't clear (and did result in alarms going off once the power was restored).Note that the Wi-fi is excellent - enough to easily stream video. Also, the hotel has all types of electrical outlets common to Botswana. It is also close to the entrance to Chobe National Park.

What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service. Despite a busy day, the Lodge staff managed to give personalized attention to each customer, engaging in friendly conversation and making sure everyone's needs were met. The communication skills were excellent, and they effortlessly recommended drinks and provided insightful information about the menu.

In addition to the team expertise, they demonstrated great efficiency and organization. Despite a bustling bar, they handled multiple beverages orders with ease, ensuring quick service without compromising on quality. The bar area was always clean and tidy, a testament to Lesedi attention to detail.

Overall, Lesedi the barman exceeded my expectations in every way. His professionalism, skills, and genuine passion for his craft truly enhanced my experience at Travelodge Kasane. I highly commend him for his exceptional service and would gladly return to the bar for his expertise in the future."

Delightful service 

Firstly - the deck was the highlight of my stay, followed by pool bar. My team and I watched the sun set from the deck; we could see animals from afar. Breathtaking, you need to be there to experience it. Long story short, this is an awesome lodge with excellent accommodation, the staff was excellent - got to know my name on first day, great meals, great service. A great stay and we highly recommend this lodge as must on a trip, whether for business or leisure.

Ah-mazing Stay 

I left Travelodge Kasane with fond memories. The staff's commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable. The menu is impressively diverse, and inviting for meat lovers. Highly recommended for anyone seeking friendly service.

Short Sojourn in Plateau, Kasane

Fantastic stay. We stayed here for 10 days. It was very comfortable. After a week, they upgraded us to one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in (unprompted). We needed convincing to move until we saw the room, as the first room was fabulous too. Fantastic service. Great breakfast. They arranged travel in town. Only 5 minutes from most locations in Kasane. They have a great viewing spot for wildlife/sunsets at the back of the hotel - a little known secret. Friendly staff.

Fabulous experience

After a night camping at Chobe National Park, what we wished are clean room, hot shower and good food. Travelodge can satisfy all these needs! 
The raised platform at the back is very nice to sit down and enjoy.

Also, we would like to say a great THANK YOU to Peter!! We urgently need some medication in late night. He reached out to a pharmacist nearby, successfully asked them to keep the medication for us, and helped us called taxi to send us to and from the pharmacy early in the next morning. Without him, we possibly need to shorten our trip, and thankfully, he went extra miles 🙇🏿‍♀️ really impressive customer service.

Exceed expectations

Easy to get to from the airport and wonderful staff from the start to finish of our stay. Helpful and very attentive to all our needs including amenities in the rooms, WiFi and help connecting with our tour group the following day. Food, drinks and service at the bar, restaurant and breakfast were exceptional. Lovely place with lovely people and a great fist impression of Botswana. Thank you!

Excellent, clean rooms… after returning from camping in the desert, I’ve never appreciated a hot shower so much. Good good, great pina colada’s. Lovely observation deck to watch the sun go down.
Staff were polite and attentive - for example, I was trying to recharge my phone in the lobby but didn’t have the right adapter. One of the desk clerks noticed and immediately offered to charge it for me, without my asking. 

I would love to return…

Great Service, Great Location and View!

I forget the name of the Front office Manager (man with glasses) Peter I think ..... HES AMAZING! So helpful, kind and informative. The property is in a great location and has a very clean pool and sunset viewing deck which is always a bonus!

We dined in the restaurant both nights and the food was good. The pool braii on our last night was very nice. Having some blankets for kids during winter would be an added touch.
 The shuttle service to the airport added value as the driver was kind enough to drop us off at the market in town and finding a taxi back to the hotel was easy and costed P30.

I look forward to coming back again in a few months.

Comfortable and outstanding in every way. Loved this hotel!

My husband and I had a corner suite with amazing views of the Chobe River. The suite was spacious, beautifully appointed and very clean . The General manager and his team were delightful and very welcoming. The entire team seemed to enjoy what they do.

We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast two days in a row. The food was imaginative and superb and Kefilwe and Phemelo were excellent waiters. Wonderful stay! Based on this experience, Travelodge is our hotel when in Kasane...
