Amazing place! Great location! The staff are what really makes this place a 5 star! So friendly, kind, helpful, and always around if you need anything. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had, everything was fresh and local and delicious! Highly recommended!

Amazing staff, location and breakfast!

The hotel was just across the St. James Church. Breakfast was good. However, wifi was a little weak.

There was smoking inside the rooms. Some staff could not speak in English. The hotel was a little difficult to find as it was located at the end of a long hall and the name of the hotel was not conspicuously displayed.

Comfortable stay!

The location and the dining room are remarkable, but the staff is very cold, breakfast is scarce, room is small, mattress is very poor, parking is possible, the promise that there will be a partial internet connection, even if the administrator or owner says otherwise, during the day it is impossible to connect. Only after 11.30 pm was it relatively stable, without a dryer in the bathroom.

A lot of promise, little fulfillment.

We stayed here as a party of 8 for 4 nights. I’ve been to Medj 5 times and this hotel is by far my FAVORITE accommodation!! The owner is so quietly kind and accommodating. The breakfast was the best I’ve eaten here offering everything you’d want and is extremely fresh. The whole place is sparkling clean. The rooms are comfortable and quiet.The location is perfect- right across from the church. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much to the fantastic staff for making our stay so comfortable.

Practice and reception

I always go to the International Hotel in Medjugorje, but this time Edo really surprised us: he has renovated all the rooms! Now the situation is as follows: excellent location, because we are very close to the church; good, healthy and abundant food; new rooms; great courtesy and availability of the hotel owner; low price. What more can you want?

It's all renovated!

I went on another pilgrimage to Medjugorje and found this jewel right in the center of Medjugorje. Crossing the road you are in the church of San Giacomo passing through a gallery of shops, the food is excellent and abundant, of Italian quality not easy to find, the breakfast is European with sweet and salty and fruit in quantity, the new rooms are large with spacious bathrooms while the renovated ones have the smallest bathrooms but they are large and spacious as I have never found in Medjugorje. There is a TV room that broadcasts Italian programs and DVD player..it's useless in Medjugorje but I assure you that having waited a couple of years for the presence of communal spaces during the rainy afternoons is a big change.

We stayed in Medjugorje from 19 to 23 August 2014, staying at the INTERNATIONAL Hotel, right in front of the Church of St. James. Hotel with spacious and clean surroundings, excellent and abundant cuisine, staff really available, kind and, at the same time, reserved, but attentive to every need. Special treatment despite the cheap price.

For 15 years I have been on pilgrimage to Medjugorje and I have stayed in different facilities but I want to review this one because we feel at home here. Not because it has the luxuries of our homes, of course not, but because of the hospitality and availability of the owner Eduard and his staff. They have a lot of experience (he was among the first to host pilgrims) and they provide for all the needs of their guests, even when we have problems with lost documents or broken cars! the food is of quality, abundant and well prepared, sober but decorated rooms, clean and with bathrooms repaired! the unique location since it is in front of the sanctuary and therefore allows walking. highly recommended!
