От месец октомври 2017 г. само собствениците на квадрокоптери и други безпилотни летателни апарати (дронове) е необходимо да регистрират устройствата си в Националната комисия по радио и телевизия на Тайланд (NBTC). В случай на нарушаване на заповедта, тайландският закон предвижда наказание до пет години затвор и/или глоба до 100 хиляди бата (около 3000 щатски долара).
