We found this place, which we were very happy about. The good hosts, although there was no kitchen, they provided us with hot water for free. The room was simple, the fan was working, the window was open, the room overlooking the road, but we came in at night and somehow we didn't notice the noise. The shower was good hot water, there was no power outages, the wifi in the room was bad, but outside the standard room, our room was actually upstairs.

Good budget hotel.

Needed to crash for one night in late 2019 and this place did the trick: cheap, clean, bug screens on the window, and a/c available if you want to spend a few extra bucks but the fan was enough to keep the night sweats away. A few quirks: no mirror, no place to hang or dry a towel (well, there’s always the back of a chair). Anyway, most importantly no bugs and the toilets flush, for the equivalent of 25 bucks US, what more would u you you want? Owners seem very nice and helpful. I’d easily stay here again.

Basic but clean and central

The hotel isnt anything fancy or luxurious. Its decent and cheap. If you are looking for a luxurious stay, youll need to look at a higher priced resort. But if you just need to spend the night, this is as good as any. Clean rooms, A/C, wifi.  Nice location as well, right in the center.

We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2018.  We got what we wanted which was a safe, cheap place to stay for a couple of nights.  We were satisfied with our stay but this wouldn’t be for everyone.  The owners are up front and honest about the place and let us explore the place before taking payment.  They even offered to recommend other places to stay if we weren’t satisfied.  The entire hotel is under construction or not finished but the rooms themselves are large with strong AC and great satellite tv.  The owners were accommodating With advice for food, tours and even finding us a place to park (their parking lot is full of supplies currently).  Although the hotel was quiet, barking dogs outside did disturb us early in the morning.  Showers were hot but sometimes the water pressure would die off in our room at the end of the hallway if someone closer would start their shower at the same time.  A budget hotel with a budget price tag.

When I arrived the owner said that he was out of rooms with AC.  I had made my reservation with confirmation a week prior.  I obviously left.  If he can't comprehend a simple reservation booking for his hotel, then I don't know what to say.

Would strongly recommend against this attempt at an accommodation.

I traveled alone to Belize and books this hotel. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get to the hotel and leave Belize, see the Lamani ruins all thanks to the help of the staff who spoke English!

Traveling alone or in a Group? This is the perfect hotel!

Sadly discarded dorms in favor of rooms which are inexpensive, but absolutely nothing to write home about. Town would be worth skipping, but better - and cheaper options have become available on Hostelworld. BZ$45 for a single room should be no more than BZ$30 -- so go to Hostelworld for private / better / more inexpensive accommodation options in Orange Walk.

Actually, the price is the main advantage. The hosts are very friendly. The rooms themselves are quite small and dirty. The same can be said about the bathroom. There are rooms with air conditioning and there are no. If you choose not to have air conditioning, note that under the window there is a road where trucks are constantly driving - noisy and dusty, and you have to open the windows because it's very hot. On the first floor there is excellent Wi-Fi. On the other hand, there is an excellent Chinese restaurant.

The most budget hotel in Orange Walk

It was cheap and clean, but more than a bed and an old TV with tubes were not to be found in the white-tiled empty rooms. Nevertheless, it is the cheapest accommodation in Orangewalk, with nice and helpful staff. A place to sleep, but nothing more

It's only a five-minute walk from the bus station. Small, clean concrete-style rooms, warm shower with good water pressure. Very nice, very helpful owner who knows herself very well and has lots of little helpful advice. Two minutes walk to the park, right by the capital, so you can hear car noise. Overall, everything is great.
