B&B Les Nénuphars

Looking forward to spending a weekend in the green, we rented the studio space for a weekend. The reception was very warm from the owner. And the studio, nothing to say: very well equipped, tastefully decorated and clean. We had a private terrace on which we could have breakfast, have coffee and dinner (and yes, because the studio has an electric barbecue, very convenient in these hot temperatures).

What a wonderful discovery.

We were here for four nights to stroll and relax, paying our own expense. We had a beautiful, large and tastefully decorated room on the first floor with a great bed to sleep in. Breakfast was great every morning and prepared with a lot of love, and Anja stood by us every day with advice, whether it was walking or eating. There were great hiking trails nearby, and the local restaurants were great, too. We would love to come back. Thank you very much for the good days.

In the quiet and yet so close to Spa, we enjoyed the welcome of the patroness of the Nénuphars, a small lunch on the shady terrace after a cold night in spite of the heat, a beautiful view, a large garden, impeccable cleanliness... to do again!

What a great discovery.

We have just spent 2 nights at the B.B. the Nénuphars. Given the presence of our dog, we stayed in the new studio. The house has 2 additional guest rooms. The house has a charming home from the owner, available for his guests. A prairie separates the house located near Lake Warfa or we have a view from the terrace and the studio (the milka cow is part of the setting). However, the bathrooms around are quite banal and lack some maintenance, a little tristounet. Finally, the studio, well-arranged, more or less clean overall, is adjacent to the owners. Moreover, the cluttered terrace in front of this restaurant, which is used to be viewed by the guests. We are not surprised by the overlooked lake. When these large dining rooms come to the hotel, but the rest of the hotel is closed for a few days, and the room is a little more or less clean. We are looking at the hotel, which is a small hotel with a view of the surrounding area.

No charm.

We took the large room on the first floor, it is very large with a large bed, modern decor, very well-dressed room, breakfast is excellent (ham, cheese, fruit, croissants...) the owner is very pleasant.

Lovely room overlooking Lake Warfa

Beautiful B&B in the Ardennes with two rooms. One named “Charlotte” on the ground floor and one room named “Anna” on the first floor. We made a reservation for the room “Charlotte” but got a free upgrade to the room “Anna”. The room was clean, very spacious and has a view on the Lac de Warfaaz. There’s a king size bed and private bathroom with a rain shower. On the ground floor is a kitchen with a fridge, cooker and microwave you can use, free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soup. Breakfast is included and very good.
Anja, the owner, made us feel very welcome. 

The B&B is situated at the Lac de Warfaaz and in walking distance of some nice restaurants. Try the family owned restaurant Le Bouchon Gourmand, the food is amazing.

The surroundings are beautiful and you can go walking and cycling. There are mountainbike-routes which you can cycle yourself, but there’s also a school (MTB-school.com) that can help you develop your skills during a one day clinic. Thermes de Spa is a 5 minute drive, where you can have a nice relaxing day after all your activities.
