Four nights in the company of a charming and sporty couple, and a warm welcome with a beer drink to get into the Belgian atmosphere. A lot of advice for tours and restaurants. Two charming rooms. One on the ground floor, our garden with a small terrace and private bathroom. A refrigerator in the room, tea and coffee.

Like at home.

Two spacious rooms each with a shower and toilet. Quiet in this small village among trees and fields. Small-care beds with which we were able to exchange. Our hostess struggled to find on her tablet the words she lacked. The gentleman is a bread and jam specialist. Her secret is not too much sugar. It keeps less well, it's okay she doesn't make old bones. Grit our hostess mastered the art of breakfast is perfect and her tables are beautiful and her compositions are tasty. So don't hesitate, for 70 and 60 euros enjoy this bed and these friendly beds if you like.

Me and my partner stayed for my birthday weekend we will definitely be back soon Paul and greet are lovely people the rooms are excellent and the breakfast yum yum yum 10/10 :) can't wait to return in near future :)

Most excellent 

Paul and Greet are splendid hosts being both interesting and informative. The accommodation was just what we wanted. 
We loved our first trip to Belgium and saw many things.
Jabbeke is very conveniently placed for both Brugge and Ghent and Brussels is only 75 minutes away using the motorway.
We will return.

The hotel is a quiet and pleasant guest room, hosted by a very friendly couple.

Exceptional reception

We just returned from a months stay in various countries and were guests at 9 BNBs throughout  Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. The BNBs were all very nice but the Jabbeke, De Kastanjeboom, with hosts Paul and Greet, was in a class by itself. The warmth, firendliness, understanding and guidance we received from them, coupled with the accomodations and EXTRORDINARY BREAKFASTS presentations makes it a one of a kind!!!
 It is convenint to all the major cities and even the ferry across the channel if one should be so inclined. 
We are an older couple, have traveled extensively and stayed at many, many BNBs. I'm not sure whether we will get back to that part of the world but if we do you'll find us as guests at De Kastanjeboom. It just doesn't get any better than this at a BNB!!!

Home away from home!!!

If you would like to visit the Brugse Ommeland, Greet and Paul's on the outskirts of the village of Jabbeke are the best places to stay. I was very warmly received, received useful information for trips to the area and was allowed to stay in a nice room. Breakfast was served in the garden and was also very good. All in all, a very nice accommodation. You can (by car) get to Brugge and to the coast very quickly. I spent two nights at the B&B De Kastanjeboom and felt very comfortable.

Feeling Well and Relaxing

A very nice stay in a friendly envirement. Breakfast was delicieus and the rooms were in a perfect and in a clean shape. Price / quality : very good! I have enjoyed my stay.

The housekeepers Paul and Greet are very kind persons. They are very familiar and available. The breakfast is very very good and special. You can sleep very good and you wake up relaxed ! The rooms are nice and clean. There is a special atmosphere! The garden is beautiful and relaxing and with a lot of green. I can advice the B&B de Kastanjeboom to those who want to visit Flanders. It is only 8 km from Bruges, 10km from the North Sea, you can visit DeHaan, Ostende, Knokke. You can also easily join Gent, Bruxelles by train. There is a bus stop very next to the B&B de Kastanjeboom. You can join Bruges. It is a quietful place. I hope to stay there again! Giuseppe
