ATTENTION!!! BED BUGS found in room number 3. We stayed there on 03/02/2024, and unfortunately, upon waking up, we discovered bedbugs. After checking our bodies, we found multiple bites. Despite receiving a €50 refund upon filing a complaint, we believe more action is necessary. Suggest changing the carpet and addressing any recurring issues, as mentioned by the host.

Attention! BED BUGS!!

Very enjoyable stay! Great room and hosts. The location is a perfect combination of peace and quiet, yet still very close to the center of Brugge. Breakfast was a great addition to our stay and the perfect way to start our day. Would recommend!

My experience was greater than my expectation.Bathroom quite narrow but does the job.

If you have mobility issues, maybe better to inform hotel in time to arrange a lower floor room.

Overall, i would visit again if i will be around.

Nice boutique hotel

We stayed in this family run hotel on a visit to Bruges. We loved it from the moment we walked through the door. Interiors are tastefully old style. The room on the first floor was spacious and modern with a very good bed and linens. Breakfast is great, and so is the hospitality.

Nice boutique hotel with great breakfast

A real surprise, this nice-looking hotel! In front of the house there are numerous parking spaces but also a busy street that disturbs us at night. The reception is warm, but the suitcases we have to carry ourselves up the very steep stairs. For people with disabilities this is an obstacle. The rooms are not particularly large, especially the shower is tiny and not particularly clean (foam). The breakfast is pleasant in the nice rooms. Finally no buffet! But tea is definitely too little in a storage bag. Wurst and cheese should be served separately. And these many packed marmalades, honey, butter, beans and chocolate! This is not too much to eat around the world and not too much to drink. This is absolutely free of tea and I have not seen a small amount of plastic bag at the top of the bar. This is just 10 kilometers highlighted and I have not just drunk a small amount of tea.

Nice old house.

If you are looking for a charming hotel, this is where you want to go. The villa has retained as much as possible the old style and is tastefully furnished. The owners are very friendly and always in for a chat.  Breakfast is abundant and served in a lovely orangery. Lovely outdoor seating area, ideal for warmer days. 

Charming old house and caring owners

A small, cozy old-fashioned hotel. The former mansion is close to the city of Eulenspiegel Dam and the Venice of the North, the venerable city of Bruges. The host couple goes to their guests and provides a very tasty, rich breakfast in the youthful winter garden. Until 11:00 p.m. the hotelier serves in person in the cozy bar Belgian beer specialties... pricing a real small alternative to the expensive hotel accommodations in Bruges. In our opinion, very highly recommended... we will be back!

Pure relaxation near Bruges in a former mansion

This is a quaint little hotel in Damme, around 7-8 kms from Bruges. It is nothing like a conventional hotel. The rooms are spacious and have an antique feel to them. It seemed to us like it was an old house which has been converted to a hotel; not sure if this is the case, but it certainly seemed so. Our room was big, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was pretty decent  with the usual assortment of breads, fruits, cold cuts, cereal, jams, yogurt and we were pleasantly surprised to find scrambled eggs too. 
It is a good place to stay if you want to visit Bruges, but want to be away from the crowd. Also, it helps if you have a car. It makes it so much simpler to get to Bruges.

Lovely stay

We spent three nights at this B eB hotel, we found each other very well, discreet people is very kind, rooms not very large but cozy and clean, excellent breakfast, dated but functional furniture.

The original hotel

A warm welcome, a good lunch, for our part, we found the hotel very romantic. The owners are unpleasant people who speak three languages, are available and helpful.
