After booking the hotel sent me a friendly message, also mentioning the possibility of an airport transfer for a certain price. On arrival nobody was around, so I called the driver, whose number I had been given, and he told me that he had never heard about this transfer. So we took a regular taxi. During our whole stay the different hotel staff at reception were not particularly friendly and helpful.

A young man showed us our room on an upper floor, but he wouldn't bother to help us with the suitcases. The room itself was not too bad, although there was only one bedlamp for two beds. Shower functioned well, but not the WiFi, definitely not in the room. There was a swimming pool, which we never used. All in all the inn's public areas didn't seem very clean.

We also never had breakfast, but once we went for the free cocktail (a rum punch) between 6-9pm with loud music around the swimming pool. No lunch or dinner was offered here, but the fun Fish-Fry restaurant village was only about 1200m away. We also walked from the accommodation into the town center, which took mus about half an hour.

There is a reason this place is cheap and cheerful. The rooms promise things that simply are not there. We booked a room with kitchenette iron and microwave none existed. The two double/king bed was a creaky double and creakier single. The hairdryer was cracked and not working. There were no coat hangers or cups in the room. Although we asked on arrival about a broken tv it was not repaired until we asked again the following day. The maid service left the floor not just wet but soaking, my partner slipped on entering the room and the towel I used to mop the floor then had to be replaced as if was too wet to use again. The bathroom tap was hanging off and had to be pushed hard to turn on and off.

The pool had a light fall out and sink to  the floor with the electrical wire hanging from the side, there was urgency to sort this which was left for the last two days of my trip.

Many of the staff are unhelpful and  just grunt when you smile or greet them with a good morning.  Sean and William are very friendly and helpful and give the place a real holiday feel. They supply free cocktails and a few snacks in the evenings, these help but is the only small part of friendly you are likely to find.

The Manager, I believe to be a female, replies to any complaints or enquiries with a ‘come by in the morning to get it sorted’ this is on permanent repeat! No solutions to any issues until it’s time for you to leave taking the problem away until the next guest arrives.

Avoid the place. I took videos to show the poor quality not knowing I wouldn’t be able to show them but believe me, it’s below basic and they just do not care!

Staff very friendly and accommodating.  Double room very basic.  Temperamental wifi.  Needs a paint job.  Some creepy crawlies.  Bed sheets had black dust?ashes? On them.  Hay hour was a bag of chips and jars of dip.  Basic continental breakfast.  Locally owned
  

Ok friendly staff run down

I needed a pet friendly place to stay while in Bahamas. This was why colony club inn appealed to me since there weren’t much in Nassau. I hate to leave a review like this but after much consideration it can’t be helped. so many things wrong with this stay. While the staff that worked at the property were nice this can’t cover up for everything. I don’t go on vacation to kill bugs. I killed a total of 10 roaches during my stay. I didn’t want to bring anything back with me. Someone opened my door attempted to enter my room the first night there but were only stopped due to the security latch. 1 hr later another person attempted to use a key card to gain access but was unsuccessful. I immediately let hotel staff no the following morning but they didn’t follow up and failed to change our room. This is located in an area of Nassau that if it rains for 2 plus hours there will be flooding. Unless you don’t mind footing it through water.  If you’re in your room while housekeeping is coming around, they won’t even ask if you need new towels you will literally have to run them down. there is a free continental breakfast. While that is a plus the flies in the bread bin definitely were a turn off. The cricket club, which is only a short walk away was a great spot for breakfast.  The Internet and television were down my entire stay. No Wi-Fi or anything now this might not be the fault of the property. The pool was clean and there was a happy hour that they held each night. I hope everybody has a better stay there than I did because I will not be going back.

I expected more but got less than I deserved

i was travelling for business and was booked here by mistake. good probably for backpackers, not for a person who wants just to sleep and go to work.
party until late with lound music, no facilities to eat lunch or dinner, poor quality breakfast, far away from everything (and a taxi to first retsaurant is 15$), very run down rooms with...'guests' (roaches)....

Just a terrible experience. Location is far from everything. You’ll never get a taxi. The room is old and worn out. The beds are hard. The chairs are uncomfortable. The breakfast is small, no refills. And the staff is unreliable and unfriendly. Ants and cockroaches in the rooms. Find another place even if it costs more!

Awful in nearly every way - avoid!

I admit, I was skeptical about staying here at first, but then I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and it was really great that it had three beds so we didn’t have to share! Speaking of beds, very comfortable mattresses, pillows and good quality linens. Our room had a private rear patio and an open front patio that was perfect for lounging with a coffee or a drink. The pool area was nice, clean and the water was wonderful. A mix of sunny and shady spots were available. In the evening, Kenny served cocktails on the house and kept us entertained with tunes and chit chat. There were flowering bushes everywhere, creating a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are named after flowers like Tulip and Bougainvillea. 
The staff were very helpful and kind. Complimentary breakfast made to order as well as tea, coffee, juice, fresh fruit and baked goods made for a lovely morning!
There isn’t much to do in this area, but a short walk will take you to the beach or to the Bahama Grill for some of the best food! 

A great place to stay, perfect for an overnight layover before continuing on to another destination. 

WARNING The shower didn't work and they charge us 50% more than the reservation!!!

The breakfast was included but they ad so many fees for no justifications that they took 50% more than the reservation.

enjoyed my stay. A little grey kitten that hangs out there befriended me and followed me wherever I went. Melted my heart! Would stay again for sure. Good location, near Fish Fry restaurants, and not far from casinos at Atlantis and Baha Mar. 

No problems. Nice stay. 

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. Coming from the uk we had no prior knowledge of Nassau so we booked blindly via Expedia. 
The staff at this hotel are SO friendly and helpful. They really make you feel at home and nothing is too much effort. 
You have a beautiful breakfast by the pool. And drinks at night too. You also meet lots of different people who to chat with. 
The Caribbean is always marketed as a chilled and friendly place for tourists and the vibe here encompasses this perfectly.  Also not too far from downtown and walking distance to fish fry.  
If you want five star luxury there is choice elsewhere, but if you want an authentic Bahamian experience come here. You won’t be disappointed.
