Hotel was dated. Thought I had walked into a 1970s Motel. The hotel was clean but no hot water until the next morning. Over prices for what you get. Would not stay there again. Can't say I would recommend this establishment.

The rooms were in poor shape, the water was barely available, and what was, wasn’t hot/warm. The furniture is broken in the rooms. The lights barely work. It was just a bit too “motel-ish” for me!

The only thing that was sort of pleasing, was the dinner available.

What a Nightmare!

After an extremely long day at the airport with our flight eventually cancelled, everyone was scrambling to find rooms to stay for the night with no help from the airlines. It was late and pouring rain when we arrived at Nettie's. Wellington was very friendly and was happy to make our stay comfortable for the short time we were there before getting up very early to catch a different flight.  Definitely a cool Bahama vibe.

Thanks Wellington! Happy to not sleep in an airport overnight.

Nettie's has been around FOREVER and is one of the places I recommend to my guests who are not fussy and just want a clean/safe REASONABLE room..no frills... but one of the few REAL Bahamian owned properties here in Nassau I'm proud to promote. Located in the Cable Beach area, you can walk or catch a jitney(bus) wherever you need to go..If you want real Bahamian, try Nettie's..You want clinical..well check the prices of others options located in Cable Beach.

I've read some of these other reviews and I'm astonished that they didn't experience the transcendent power of Nettie's. It's no longer in its prime when compared to Baha Mars & Atlantis, however they don't synthesize Bahamian culture, Bahamian sustainability, Bahamian education, Bahamian art, Bahamian musicianship like NETTIE'S. If you care about any of those things, you should definitely book w/ Nettie's Place at Casuarinas. It's an incredibly inspirational place to celebrate and creatively synthesize ideas about better work, better jobs, better lives. That's why my subject heading says, "Transcendent experiences. Period." Nettie's makes them possible.

Transcendent experiences. Period.

We were greeted kindly and sympathetically, but the employee was wearing a T-shirt with the food left over from weeks. The rooms were similar. Although large, but totally messed up. The chair was unusable, many undefined stains. Blood traces of dead mosquitoes on the walls and on the floor. A messed up plate left with food left in the dressing room. Cosmetics from the previous ones in the bathroom closet. The next pool was dirty, the beds were broken down. We had booked on the Internet for five nights - but checked out very quickly in the morning after we spent the night with it, looking for another accommodation.

Horrible.

We spent three nights here on April 26th and we have no complaints to make. It's clean, comfortable, low-budget, staff are nice and the food was good. We were looking for a quiet place away from the noise of downtown Nassau, just a place to relax without spending a fortune. The location was great. The bus system is amazing. You take the bus at 1:00 at the hotel exit and it takes you to Nassau in ten minutes, you can shop and take the ferry to Paradise Island. This hotel was just near a place with a good restaurant, a supermarket, liquor stores and an internet cafe. There was also a good restaurant near the center of the hotel, which is quite close to the hotel, so you can find a nice place to stay, but if you want to come to Paradise Island, you'd like to go to Paradise Island, but if you'd like to come to Paradise Island and find a great place to shop, you'd like to go to the beach, but if you'd like to go to J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J.J
