We had a great and very relaxing short trip to the Angerer Alm: cozy, sweet rooms, very good cuisine, great wine, a wonderful hostess who is there with heart and hand, a wonderful environment that attracts hiking and biking - and the whole thing is just a two-hour drive from Munich. We will always be happy to come back!

Nature - Relaxation - Enjoy yourself: Angerer Alm

The Angerer Alm is a unique place to relax. The rooms are lovingly decorated, the room a place to feel comfortable. The shared bathrooms always create a family atmosphere. The food was always fresh, original, delicious and finely prepared, the breakfast overlooking the Wild Emperor a delight. The grandiose hospitality invites you to visit the Alm again and again!

A Wonderful Place to Relax and Do Sports

It has now become a refuge for us. The durability and the lovely accommodation as well as the excellent food make the Angerer Alm unique to us. The food is getting better every year thanks to chef Gerald and pastry chef Katharina and we can only honour this with the highest praise. Great class!

Home coming

Our short vacation on the Angerer Alm was a complete success. Living right by the ski slope. Overnight rooms with balcony and excellent views. First class kitchen, a breakfast that leaves no wishes open and very good, nice service. We'll be back for sure.

Four dreamy days on the Angerer Alm

During our short vacation, we took a hike towards Kitzbühler Horn, a stopover on the Angerer Alm: a great sun terrace, classic hot dishes AND sensational wine cellars and three-course menus!

Unexpected (comes often)

We spent 3 nights at the Angerer Alm with half board. The food at the Alm is absolutely recommended. The breakfast with a very large selection of sweets, cereals or hearty dishes had even salmon, sec, a juicer and offered the possibility of baking egg dishes and bacon in all variations ourselves. Rarely had we eaten so well and such a selection of wines. The rooms are rather small, but sufficient for a shorter stay and offer, despite communal accommodation and showers, washing. Everything was always kept clean. The view from about 1400 meters above the Emperor and over St. John Willem's Atomb was very pleasing. The Alm offers a good starting point for all directions; the rooms were rather small, but sufficient for a shorter stay and, in spite of communal and shower, would always be clean. The view of the Emperor and over St. John Willem's Fountains was very convenient.

Super delicious food and great views

Our meeting at the Angerer Alm was a success! At this point, I would like to thank you warmly for the delicious food, good wine and, more importantly, for the very hospitable and cordial support! We will certainly be back - the Angerer Alm team can only recommend further. Perfect for smaller meetings in a relaxed environment!

Super nice mountain cabin with top hostess!

The Angerer Alm is beautifully overlooking St. John's with views of the Wild Emperor. It is beautifully rustic and lovingly decorated. The food and the wines are very tasty, especially for a hut. The service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the rooms are a matter of luck. There are very charming nostalgic rooms, but some four-bed rooms have more of a schoolhouse or youth hostel style. Unfortunately, the prices do not differ, although you are already disappointed with the latter. There are two showers and two toilets on the hallway on the first floor and several toilets under the restaurant. That should be adjusted. The breakfast is accidental and there is little choice.

Great food, great wines, rooms are good luck.

We discovered the Angerer Alm for ourselves about 10 years ago and are now regular guests. In summer and winter, the ambience, food and wine accompaniment are something special. The view of the valley and a good glass of wine instantly turn us off from our daily routine.

A quiet mountain resort with great food and wine

A short summary for a perfect vacation: A week at the Angerer Alm with the Foidls and your staff. Admittedly, we were lucky with the weather and the pistes. But the greatest happiness was that we found this Alm. The living environment fits perfectly (who already has a shower in the bedroom at home, so take heart, it goes without; and the toilets were always perfectly maintained and there was warm water without end). My pre-travel worries - typical peep - I could freeze, it was stupid. Each room had central heating and it was warm. Without blame was the food, we had the big reception to get used to, and we didn't let the host understand it every day, there wasn't a big one and there was no end to it.
