Allerberger´s Landgasthof

We chose this hotel because we are driving and did not want the hassle of a car in the city center. I am so happy we stumbled upon this place. The room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was great and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We ended up eating dinner in the beer garden of the hotel the first night because we were exhausted from our long drive from Venice. I had a creamy garlic soup that was honestly one of the best soups I have ever eaten. I also had a jagerscnitzel with a clear mushroom sauce. It was one of the best dinners I at during my entire 3 week European vacation. They also brew their own beer an site and I enjoyed a few. My partner is not a beer drinker, but they had wine that was to her liking. There is plenty of free parking and there is a bus stop just down the street to take you into Salzburg. After a very fast paced vacation it was a joy to relax in the comfort and quiet of the peaceful Landgasthof Allerberger.
