Optimal location, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Pertisau. Behind the structure begins the Natural Park, with all its excursions.

Great location in Pertisau

The reception in the accommodation was very warm, but on the way to the room, it became clear that it hadn't been renovated for a long time. The carpets on the hallways were already so worn out that you can't even recognize the original color and the indoor pool didn't really invite you to bathe in its condition. In the room, it didn't really get better, the sliding door to the bathroom was so tight that I only came out when my friend opened again from outside (unfortunately for those who travel alone) Even the shower cabin door was only able to be opened with a lot of force, at least everything was very clean.

SArg came of age, but very clean and very friendly hosts

A few days of sleeping were planned. We were fully satisfied, which of course was also contributed by the wonderful snow and sunshine. In the Rainbow House we were very friendlyly received by the owners. We lived in spacious and cozy rooms - very good mattresses provided a comfortable night's sleep. Our car was well and safely in one of the free carports. The Rainbow House is located right at the beginning of the various hiking trails. After a very abundant breakfast offer (large buns), we immediately set off on the winter-paved paths - separated from the equally well-equipped walking trails. In the place you can also find a few restaurants and cafes located next to the lake.

Wonderful Winter Hiking

It was our first time here in Pertisau am Achensee and we had a great experience! 
The owners (Helene and Herbert Haun) are friendly and all worked well. We booked it over booking.com, payed 25% and the rest during checkout. 
We had an apartment in a 2nd floor with a balcony oriented to the street - a bit noisy if you do not close window; closed windows insulating very well (3-glassed-windows). There were 2 bedrooms with own bathroom plus main room with TV, sofa, table and well-equipped kitchen. All was very clean and new. Internet was fast enough (approx 50/10Mbps). 
They have own carport (covered parking) 10m from the house. Nice during a winter to have clean car. We could also store our bikes and bike carrier to a lockable small hut. 

Great experience, very nice clean and well equipped rooms 

We stayed for two nights at the Alpen Moment Pension. It was one of the cheapest accommodations in Pertisau and you can't expect too much here. The pension has gotten a little old but for a hiking vacation this is quite enough. The breakfast was good and the owners were very kind and helpful. Whoever expects more from a room than just sleeping and showering should probably look for one of the more expensive alternatives. For us the small room and shower was enough.

Simple accommodation that has come a long way

The guest house is about 800 meters from the lake, it's better to have a car to get there, the reception is friendly but the room is frankly old with quite worn-out furniture. The bathroom is separate but the shower is in the room! Breakfast is right, in the average of what's done in Austria. In short, a place that's worth most of its price, it can be useful in this pretty expensive city. But there's no miracle.

It's not expensive.

Friendly boarding house on the outskirts of town, bright double room with balcony, very clean, personal contact, breakfast, welcome to the community, use of the community refrigerator, considerate parking.
