We found this lovely pension quite by chance and were more than satisfied. It is perfectly located by the lake of Mondsee, close to the center. The room was nice and clean, service was friendly and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended to stay here.

great stay

Just like you imagine an Austrian pension. Friendly staff, good location in the city centre, parking lots in front of the house, (free) public parking with e-gas station one minute away, typical breakfast buffet (not big, but select enough) single manko: the ventilation in the bathroom turns on about 30 seconds after you turn on the light, turns on and then runs for 5 minutes.

How to imagine an Austrian pension

A friendly family is running the place right on the lake and 300m from the center. The breakfast is sufficient and has a nice selection. The nearby beach and the parking where empty at the beginning of October.

We stayed (2 pairs) for 3 nights in the guesthouse, which is only separated by a small park from the lake; enough parking, but very quiet! 3 places nearby. Remarkably nice, friendly owners who took very good care of our well-being. Breakfast with various sausages and cheeses, vegetables, marmalades, juices, pastries, fruits... sufficiently available and of good quality! Rooms clean and with TV and balcony price pronounced appealing!!! We felt good!!

Short vacation

The room was nice with a large balcony, bed very comfortable! family Klimesch was very friendly, we felt very comfortable! Location super right by the sea and just a few minutes to the center, good bio-fairtrade breakfast:) we will definitely be back:)

Very nice short vacation.

We spent more or less half a night in the boarding house. Everything worked out fine. We arrived at two o'clock in the morning. The key was provided to us. The room was big, clean and big enough for three people. We had to go mosquito hunting before sleeping but for a boarding house near the lake, that's fine. The breakfast was fine. The staff was nice. Personally, I also think it's fine that you can only pay in cash. We'll definitely stay here again on the next pass if the occupation allows.

Just back from a 4 nights stay at this charming B &B.Sylvia was a good host ,breakfast was plentiful and room especially the bathroom was warm and modern.Highly recommend.The view from the balcony was very scenic.

Klimesch guest house enjoys a perfect location by the sea,parking is not a problem. Our room was perfect,so was breakfast. Sylvia is a very friendly host and speaks good english. This b&b is highly recommended!

Excellent location,nice room and host

We were warmly received rooms very clean and comfortable goods with trike on the way and unfortunately came in the rain on our arrival we were almost dripped out we were immediately offered a way to hang the wet stuff and dry which unfortunately is not everywhere obvious

It was a really great choice! The owner is really friendly and helpful in everything. There is a nice view from the balcony. The pension is situated at an optimal place, 3 minutes from the lake, 5 minutes from the town centre. It is close to the motorway, easy and comfortable to find after a long drive. It's a great base to make trips from in the area. There are so many things to see in the neighbourhood that we definitely want to got back and stay at this place.
