Stayed here only for a night, but my experience was superb. Upon arriving we were greeted by the very friendly owner Karin- we were pleased to find that a double room + single (for me) meant we had the whole top floor to ourselves. As for the double room there was lots of space and a sofa and wardrobe in addition to the bed, and in my room, the single, there was a comfortable bed, shelving, a wardrobe and a desk- there was a very generous amount of space. In the morning there was an included breakfast that was amazing, lots of it being sourced from the farm the hotel is attached to (although you wouldn’t know it) and there were lots of options , including fresh yogurt, fruit and bread rolls, and coffee- you can request tea if you prefer that. The location is right next to the Langen train station which is why we picked it, not looking for the best service, but were pleasantly surprised. As for restaurants there are none in Langen, but a 30 min walk/ 10 min drive away is Klösterle which had some good ones including Giovanni Pizzeria, which was reasonably priced. Bear in mind that most of the other restaurants shut before 6. Karin was extremely kind and helpful, and allowed us to print our train tickets before we left. The only issue I had which is completely subjective and not detriment to the stay at all, is that if you are over 5’11 watch your head because some of the doorways are quite short and there are some slanted ceilings in places, so watch out. Overall excellent stay although short :)

Excellent service and accommodations in west Austria  travel hub

Lovely decorated rooms, great rich breakfast with guards... family very friendly and helpful. TripAdvisor wants me to use even more signs now so I can send the review.

Very friendly little boarding house

The atmosphere of the house was very cozy, the only inconvenience was sharing the shower, but as we took three rooms, I shared it with my friends. In addition, if you wanted to share alone it was with another room. The breakfast was excellent, very varied. The owner was attentive to our needs all the time.

It exceeded expectations.

We were there twice and were welcomed in person. The rooms are not stylish but incredibly cozy and very clean. The breakfast is great. There was, among other things, guarding of our own chickens. The hotel family was very friendly!!! The train stops only a few meters away and it's only about 20 minutes on a beautiful footpath to the village. Price performance was perfectly implemented here. We would always come back!

It's a very nice, family hotel.

In July 2017, we went to Italy for a night here and on the way home for two nights. We both felt very comfortable. The breakfast was great, we could even feed ourselves for the day. After the exhausting trip back from Italy, we were able to even have dinner there spontaneously. The rooms in the attic were ideal for us as a family with three children. The landlady was very friendly and liked to help with wall tips. We would love to come back.

When we arrived there by chance, we found kindness, clean rooms, comfortable and quiet, a perfect breakfast, and we had the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful scenery of a beautiful alpine area that we had never known before.

Good value for money!!!

A lovely guesthouse with a very familiar atmosphere, fine home-made products, friendly and hospitable housekeepers, a good starting point for trips by car or motorcycle, very suitable for cyclists and pedestrians.

Family Flair

Beautiful terrace, great room and super comfortable. The hostess is super attentive. Breakfast is simply wonderful. It's practically in front of the train station and has restaurants 10 minutes' walk to Klösterle.

That's great!

We had been with a group in Jochum's house many times before - but we had never been more disappointed than this time. The house does not offer luxury and only a limited breakfast, which is no longer up to date, we knew that. But we did not expect to be dragged over the table when paying. We all had to pay the price of the single-use rooms, although we had to partly use a shower in the hallway and the normal price would have been 34, - everyone had to pay 40 - - they made about 150, - well and we had not even filled out a guest ticket, so that was still accepted.

This is a major deterioration.

We stayed here one night as the last stop of an itinerary trip between Germany and Austria before returning home. As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted by the hostess who does not speak Italian and perhaps not too much English but she makes herself clear with her expressive mimicry and is very kind. She was practically welcomed into her home...the first floor is reserved for customers where there are rooms, a bathroom and the breakfast room with the TV table games, books and movies of course in German 😁. the house is very beautiful and also very pretty inside finished with mountain flavor but modern and with a sense of warmth and hospitality.
