I'm going back a long time in the 1960s I think it was with Cosmos travel . I found the Hotel very nice indeed, the staff were very friendly  and the rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was mmm ok but i didn't like the soup and meat, if you wanted more of anything you just had to ask. The locals came into the bar and were very friendly they would talk to you. . With Cosmos there were visits to a lot of places which cost extra but well worth it, they know where to take you, where as on your own you would be a little lost unless you had a map. But the scenery was something else, The Brenner Pass opened by Onkel Adolf in 1935. I wasn't around then, but the Aussicht, or view is breathtaking. in this land you will never regret making a holiday but try to take trips to different towns. I'm 71 now and still remember it and never regret a moment of it, and neither will you..Gute Reise.

Typical Tyrolian Hotel

We stayed at this place in the last week of August and we had a good time. The village of Pfaffenhofen is really small and there is almost nothing but it is in a very picnic-centric location and only 20 minutes from Innsbruck. We were two families with 2 children each, our room was a spacious terrace with a balcony overlooking mountains; the hotel has a nice swimming pool with heated water and we didn't see much of it from here. The food was good and the staff were very nice: our children had a lot of fun.

Taking advantage of a very interesting offer - of which it would be difficult to complain - we stayed in this cottage in Tyrol in a family atmosphere where we were able to enjoy a very proper restaurant and service as well as a room with balcony (despite the proximity of the main roads, we were able to enjoy a splendid view of the valley without the inconvenience of noise since the building is well insulated) as well as a small lounge in the room of our friends; a small room is available for WIFI, as well as tour documents.

Tyrol discovered in Austria

On the third day of the week, I was having dinner with my family and had a table tel. reserved on the 5th of June 2015. When we arrived, there was no table packed for us. After ordering, we waited for our meal for an hour and a half. Even our two-and-a-half-year-old grandson had to wait for his meal so long. The ordered mixed grills by type of house were lovely arranged and flavored bland. Also, one expects an ingredient on an order by type of house that does not have to be listed in the menu. These were 3 raw onion rings. The crowning conclusion came after the meal when I asked myself on my grounds if there was a toilet floor to stay. This was finished by the health care provider or by the way to the basement.

Not recommended hostel

We were on our way to Jacob's Road in Tyrol and arrived at about 14:15 after a five-hour hike in Pfaffenhofen. We were hungry as we were, we wanted a snack. We were greeted by a very unfriendly lady (hostess?). We took a seat in the garden (directly on the street, plus a huge construction site = hell noise). The waitress informed us that there was nothing to eat at that time - perhaps a piece of cake. When asked if there was at least a piece of bread, a bun, a snack, she told us after inquiring at the local that there was nothing besides the cake already offered - but there is an M-market, which is a backyard after 10 minutes outside the town: we can buy something to eat there. We can only taste a piece of cake from the Tirol restaurant, which is located in the heart of the tortilla.

This hotel has a very good location, easy to find. Worst things: no soap and shampoo in the bathroom; poor breakfast with assistance; the owner's wife controlled us like a nazi commander, it was ugly, we felt like in a nazi concentration camp!
