My stay at the guesthouse was very pleasant. The staff were always friendly and helpful. My German is not excellent, but they would still address me, slowly, in German, which I liked. I could also speak either English or even Russian with some of the staff. The room was clean and light, the breakfast had everything I wanted. The wifi could be a bit slow, and the room was a bit hot during night. As I was on a business trip this is what makes me rate 'very good' rather than 'excellent'.

Friendly and welcoming

We had shortly been looking for rooms near the LHK Graz, and we got the last room. The boss kindly informed us by phone that it was a mansard room with rooftops at a good price. Friendly, bright room, and everything is there: two beds, hanging out options, shower, TV, chairs, dressing room, etc. All you have to do is go to the toilet (only in this room) through the hallway. This was acceptable in our case. The price is also reasonable. Everything is clean.

Very friendly home, family apartment (500m from the main gite) refurbished, functional and very comfortable, breakfast varied and of very good quality. Perfect for those who want an option outside the city centre. Attention: the gite is 6-7 km from the centre. We were motorized and did not try the buses serving the centre. To take into account in the choice.

Excellent base for visiting Graz and its surroundings

We were in Graz to see the Andrea Bocelli concert. We chose this Gasthaus after viewing and booking 2 others first! We are glad that we changed our booking to this Gasthaus. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. We had a very warm welcome from the Assistant lady who helped us with travel into Graz. The owner had recommended a very nice restaurant for lunch. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, different breads and homemade specialities. Eggs were cooked fresh on request. We can thoroughly recommend this Gasthaus.

Great weekend visit to Graz....

Very new room, excellent lighting, two-sided windows, full bathroom, paid with credit card, breakfast from 6.30 to 9.30, 12€ per person but definitely very shallow and abandoned. Marmalades, cheeses and various salums, salmon, freshly washed and cut fruit ready to be tasted, fresh bread of the day, freshly squeezed sweets, juice and coffee of choice.

What a beautiful room.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here. The hotel is a little outside Graz, near the Mariatrost Cathedral, but the center is easily and quickly accessible even by public transport, in fact the bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. In the hotel you will find a sheet with the times of buses both to and from. Prices aligned with those of the other hotels in the area. The room was in the detached building, really big and comfortable, with so much small living room and balcony. The bathroom was very spacious and full of shampoo, soaps, phon. The cold outside inside was well warmed up. impeccable cleanliness. The rooms are small but full of sweetness: the facts on the way home are written in the first floor, and the gentleman gave us a very nice bus from the front of the house, and the gentleman did not show us a very nice case!!

Great hotel near the Cathedral of Mariatrost

Second experience from Plank; this year we were in 3 and we bought an apartment; what hits right away when we enter the Gästehaus is the cleaning and here it is at levels that are hardly found even in a prestigious hotel. The structure then offers breakfast and what breakfast!! From salt to sweet with vases that Gerti and his collaborators constantly squeeze; you will not find anything prepackaged, the pastry shop makes it for them, I would just go back for that!!

The owner, Mrs. Geltrude and Mrs. Elisabeth are delicious and available people, very large rooms and a great choice of food for breakfast, the only thing possible... a few kilometers from downtown Graz.

Two days in Graz

We stopped one night before arriving in Vienna, spacious and very clean rooms. The lavish and well-presented breakfast is a real surprise worthy of a 4-star hotel. Large parking and facility close to the centre; the only regrettable note is that the kind and courteous mistress, despite speaking and understanding Italian very well, never spoke to me in my language and expressed herself only in English, putting me in real trouble......M.
