Perfect located in Obertauern, walking distance to the 2 main lifts.
The staff is amazing. They are very helpful. You can buy the ski pass direct in front desk. Breakfast is also incredible, with berries. The omelet is prepared right in front of you by a well skilled gentlemen who is also very polite and helpful.

One of the Best in Obertauern!!!! I highly recommend it.

Lets start at the very beginning, not a bad place to start. The booking via email was efficient despite some language challenges but my bad for not learning German! The hotel accommodated a last minute addition which at the time of year, Christmas, was always going to be a challenge when at 100% occupancy. The check-in was efficient and the Family Storch made us very welcome and run a very tight quality customer centric ship. Rooms were a good size with great views. The food was incredible, we went right through the a la carte during our stay and also the menu of the day and not one single dish was not of the highest standard. The one night off we went into town the quality of comparison was even more apparent. The hotel is truly ski in ski out, a 60 second walk to the lift next to the hotel enabled access to the entire regions skiing which runs in a circular model either clockwise, reds or anti clockwise, blues. Ski to the boot room in the evening, marvellous! Skis off in the bar within 2 minutes! With all this said its the staff that makes the difference, Heinz in the restaurant was always there for us and with it his very capable and attentive staff accommodating for some of our more quirky dietary requirements! Daniela and the whole reception team always catering for every need and the bar well attended making great Gin combinations and cocktails. And last but no means least the creator of the title of this review, the young Fabien was outstanding with his high quality well stocked round of Schnppsi taxi to finish off the evening was the true icing on the very well baked hotel cake that is the Hotel Panorama!

At the top, and so it goes, is the guest's wish, and that dominates - especially - the head of the house! No matter what, he will make it possible or at least try - never experienced this way 👍👍👍.We had an old room, big, clean and well maintained, very satisfied. The kitchen and the service in the restaurant deserve a hood. SPA very nice - the top house in Upper Walls and that at the (alleged) competition.

Just the ultimate.

We were having dinner at Panorama Restaurant and what can I say: there were no wishes left open - from the starter to the dessert - just perfect! A great menu, also as a menu, and a spicy wine card made our evening perfect! Not to mention our own children's card with a great choice for the smallest! The host and the service team were extremely friendly and kind! We can always recommend the restaurant 100% again!

A perfect evening with great food and a nice atmosphere.

During our first stay, the direct location of the ski lift and the very good kitchen were the primary selection criteria for why we chose the panorama. Since then, we have been there four times. After two years of Corona-related break now in January. There was some concern. Is the staff still so nice and the atmosphere still so familiar? Does the kitchen still hold what we expect? Fortunately, it was just as good as the previous break. A new kitchen chef enchanted delicious dishes. The young old staff has remained. The perfect situation is still the same. And despite the fact that the change compared to the last years is more or less nothing at all, in Uptown is probably always enough. For skiing, we have 2023 and we can now enjoy skiing again.

Perfect hotel for staying in Upper Tauern

Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast. High end hotel, with restaurant and good size rooms. Spacious skiing room, walking distance to the lifts and main street. Notice: Welcommed by a very serviceminded reseptionist whom offered upgraded rooms for our ski team - a first for the team.

The Hotel Panorama offers everything we can imagine for a relaxed ski holiday: a great room, a good breakfast, a very nice evening ticket and plenty of space in the bar area. The generous spa area is designed to make you feel comfortable in times of corona. And the location right by the elevator, of course, speaks for itself as well. Overall, the Storch family makes sure that the personal touch is not lost, too.

A hotel with a nice flair and a warm reception, modern rooms with a large bathroom, a warm stay at both the breakfast and the evening restaurant, which left no wishes open.

New Year's holiday

We spent our one-week ski holiday with our adult children in Upper Tauern in the wonderful Hotel Panorama. The family-run hotel was very entertaining and hardly a wish remained open. The rooms are very clean and tastefully furnished, so we felt comfortable around. We also liked the spa for adults on the top floor, as well as the very good and varied kitchen of the house. We will definitely come back.

It's a great hotel right by the runway.

Relaxing family vacation, excellent dining with a rich breakfast buffet, evening choice between menu and A la Carte. We had a quiet, well-equipped room.
