We were in a top floor two bedroom apartment, which was spacious, well maintained and immaculately clean.  The apartment was quiet and had stunning views across the valley from the balcony.  The location to the ski bus was a short three minute walk, which was great as I hate carrying my skis!  Restaurants within 2 to 5 minutes walk and good wifi.

My son and his girlfriend missed the last cable down by literally one minute and as it was her first time skiing they had to ski down slowly and sometimes walk which took two hours.  This meant they missed the last bus back to Alpbach, the lovely owner was kind enough to drive and collect them from the cable car station.  

I can highly recommend the Apartment Alpina and its very kind owner Maria.

Perfect Apartment for Skiing Holiday

Great location and great accommodation. Maria, the manager/boss is great. All very helpful and accommodating. I 100% recommend this haus. Fantastic in every way. Very central to the best eateries and bars in town.

Best ever

I have been to Alpbach many times as a child and a few times as an adult. This time I returned with my husband and my 5year old son. 
We arrived at Alpina around lunchtime and were staying in the basement flat. (My aunt and uncle stay in this house every year and are always in the top flat. This is also well equipped and a good size) Initially when told we were in the basement flat I was concerned it would be small and pokey but was very nicely surprised on arrival at the comfortable size and set up of the flat. A good size walk in shower with a heated floor and a lovely deep bath, a proper hair dryer is available, this made my day. I hate those tiny little portable hair driers many hotels etc provide. Spacious hanging space and a modern up to date fitted kitchen area and lounge combined. Lots of kitchen equipment supplied including a dishwasher. Free wifi. The 1 bedroom is more than ample for a young family of four as there is bunk beds in the corner of the main bedroom. A very comfortable double bed and sofa also in the main bedroom but still plenty of space to walk round. Being in the basement we obviously didn't have a balcony with a view but there was an outside area with a table and chairs. Tbh we were out most the time so no need for a view! Although at times we could hear our neighbours above (usually first thing on waking in the morning) it wasn't enough to be an issue. 
Maria is very helpful and really lovely. The people in Alpbach are as friendly as I remember them and I disagree with a previous comment regarding non native children on skis. My child was helped every time onto the button lift at the ski slope in the village as well as lifts on the slopes in the mountain. We booked our son into ski school Activ who hold their lessons at the top of the mountain. Fantastic bunch of instructors. Highly recommend them. 
We would def return here again and I would recommend staying in haus Alpina.

1st Family ski holiday.

Having spent almost 3 weeks being rejected by every hotel and apartment in Austria(we dared to try and book Tuesday to Tuesday...fools) we were on the brink of surrendering our flights.

Eventually after(literally) dozens of e-mails and phonecalls, we chanced upon the Family Moser, and apartment Alpina.

From the first phonecall Maria(daughter) was polite, helpful and friendly.

Having landed at Innsbruck hired a car, bought our two and three year old daughters ski suits at a sports Hypermarket, a mere snip at £180 each we, headed off towards Alpabach.

First thing you'll notice upon entering Alpbach is the Spa supermarket. I say the first thing you notice because due to criminal allowances on the part of the Alpabach town planners, the spa supermarket dwarfs almost everything in the village. Even the congress centre is part subterraneal and less of an eyesore.

The greeting we received once at the apartment was warm friendly and genuine, perfect when the temperature is minus 10 and your children refuse to get out of the car in to the cold night air!

The apartment was warm, modern yet Tyrolean, spacious and perfect for a family or small group.

The cost of the apartment was reasonable, and the location couldn't really have been better; at the heart of the village, though away from the busy main road and overlooking a stunning alpine valley.

Our impressions of Austria...Massively expensive due in part to the fall of the Euro. Don't expect help with children from the locals esepcially if they are on skis. Don't ask for Doughnuts at the bakery at Christmas...theyr're reserved for "guests"

Our impressions of Alpbach...local councilors need to decide , and quickly whether Alpabch is a village or a Town, if they carry on expending they will kill the golden goose.

Our impressions of Apartment Alpina....brilliant, couldn't have wished for more.
