We broke the Broome to Bungles Bungles and stayed in a lodge room.  The room is clean and comfortable, well appointed.  Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Reception was friendly and efficient. Lovely grounds. We will stay longer next time. Highly recommended.  

Fabulous food, service and accommodation 

Thank you room service for room 42 cleaning on the 18/1/24, for protecting valuables. I left my wallet, ID, cash and card out and everything was secure. Great job, cheers, Adrian Rebeiro

We stayed in one of the river view luxury rooms, quite expensive, but to us was worth it.   The room was spacious and had a fantastic balcony looking over the river and wild life that comes out at dusk. Check in was OK, nothing special. We dined at the restaurant, meal was OK, nothing out of te ordinary.

Perhaps the profits are paying for the non working ladies toilets and closed urinal in the caravan amenities

No good should have stayed in the caravan.

Given how famous this place has become over the years, especially given the issues with the next door bridge, we eagerly made haste to get here (as you cannot book camping/caravan sites). 
Our first annoyance was at the terribly small road signage outside to direct people into the temporary entry point. 
(Do they not know Google adds an hour detour to enter from the wrong side?) the bridge has been out since Jan - more would be better. 
The same inside, no signage to direct you to reception, as it’s all facing the wrong way. Enjoy the many trailer caravans trying to reverse down the hill! 
I know a lot of it was under water, but the quality of the site is poor with cow poo everywhere and horrid facilities in the loos and showers. 
We literally didn’t use them at all for fear of catching something. 

Considering its location and status, I expected more!
Finally, the diggers and construction work continues 24/7 regardless of who’s sleeping nearby. Enjoy!

Having read previous posts our expectations were not high, however room was compact but clean and comfortable once the A/C got going!
Dinner in the bistro was excellent. Chefs special of beef vindaloo for me and stuffed capsicums for the child bride hit the spot.
Ideal for a one night stay on a road trip!


Clean and comfortable 

Fine for a one night stay, beds were comfortable. The pool was a bit fresh, but it was winter. We were part of a bus tour, so I am not sure if it is value for money. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

One night stay

The motel is very spaced out and connected by elevated walkways. It was a long walk to our room at the back of the complex. The room was basic but comfortable. There were cracks in the basin. The group dining room was very noisy (all hard surfaces with nothing to dampen the sound) and not helped by another group continuing to talk loudly while the set up and history were explained to our group. There was a good range of food on the buffet, but the meat was in a watery liquid.

Walk the plank

This resort is very overpriced for what you get. It is dusty and the Safari tents shabby. Staff were running around in a cart making dust everywhere . Power cords all over the floor , these could be tidied up.
It is very overpriced and wouldn’t stay again better to camp in own tent at river sites.

This was the worse stay during our month stay in the Kimberly

When you arrive, reception is behind a really old and dirty door and there no warm welcome check in

Our room was a riverside studio unit and it took some effort to reach it

Room was spacious , with a terrace and a old  worn out jacuzzi

Not very clean,  kitchen  unit and tools inside cub bards felt dirty

Bar offers foods, and also the restaurant
Since restaurant had a bbq, we went to the bar, where a girl did not speak english enough , so it took a long time and help of a colleague , to understand what we needed
Food was…..

Main problem was, we did not feel safe . At reception they give you a chain to close off your parking spot !!! Also there a lot of people walking on the terrain , who were not staying in the motel.  Really we did not feel comfortable
