Came here for an overnight stay and couldn't be happier. Price was extremely reasonable, bathrooms were very clean and the owners really nice. Would definitely recommend here for an overnight stay or 2 due to the friendly nature of permanent residents and the owners, very clean bathrooms and good camp kitchen.

Great place

needs a safety mirror at park when moving van in and out of side street part from that we will be back again great hosts lawns well maintained very well priced for stays over 4 weeks prefer code out of park as well as in to keep safety and stop tail gaters which did happen on a few occasions by same vehicle 

perfect power site for van and perm neighbours were more than friendly

Very friendly and helpful reception on arrival. Good location with easy access to shopping plaza next door, and walkway under the highway to river, parks, boardwalk, Stuart Island and main town area. Many long term friendly residents. Caravans / campers not packed in like some parks. Amenities very clean. Close to highway but traffic noise not noticeable. 

Lovely Stay

Very friendly and helpful!! Great location with fantastic native birds around and well kepts grounds and facilities. Also easy access to shops and river. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Staff were more thab welcoming upon arrival.

Friendly and helpful!

We came here with our wagon and the lady at the reception is very friendly. She was always looking after us. All the other people staying there were mainly long term campers, all very friendly. All amenities are very clean and this place is not crowded.

Nice place - nice people

We only stayed here for two nights and had a double cabin. This was perfect for us, it had it's only little kitchenette that was ample and shared toilets and bathroom and 5 metres away.
The gentleman who ran it was so helpful, and even let us keep our bags in reception after we checked out whilst we waited for our bus. There is shops not even 5 minutes walk and there is also a cool little cinema there!  Quite a walk into the town centre but it's a lovely walk along boardwalks next to the water. They offer free bike hire as well if needed, which we used.
Would stay here again for sure
