This simple accommodation is kept very clean. The bedding is very comfortable too. My stay involved a shared bathroom and kitchen and laundry facilities all were adequately equipped.

Slightly out of town it is an easy 15 minute walk to the centre or there is a very good taxi service available. It was quite interesting to be located close to part of the mine site.

Katrina was welcoming ,friendly and helpful and offered me a lift on several occasions.As I have an injured knee that was really appreciated.

If you don't need all the whistles and bells this is the place for you.

Katrina at Cityside Hotel was awesome we had an easy check in & she was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and very clean we had everything we needed bed was comfortable. We were able to park our bikes outside our room which was great and Katrina gave us the number for the courtesy bus to the Irish club which was a good feed the bus driver was a good sort too ....it’s people like this that make you want to stay longer 👍 can’t wait to go back and have a better look around will definitely stay again

Excellent

Cityside accommodation is a fairly average motel a bit out from the city centre. Things I didn’t like was the lack of natural light in our room and the absence of power points anywhere near the bed. On the good side, the room was spacious, everything worked, and we were given free access to a washing machine. Overall a mixed bag; OK for a night but I don’t think I would book there again.

OK for one night

Does not look like much outside but the motel units for 95 dollars a night with a double bed. Basic but has a microwave and knifes forks plates so you can grab a quick snack to heat. Walk is 1.6km to city so a easy walk. The owner is really nice. Wi fi is excellent. Will use again

Good quality accomodation

Well...best description is that it is a work in progress. We stayed for one night on the way through from Katherine to Isa. This motel is like an old rabbit warren with odd buildings and alley ways everywhere. Our room was large and spacious, comfortable bed and good shower. There is a big courtyard out the back that looks like it is being set up as a blokes party area. Pool table, darts, 3 barbecues, at least 4 empty eskies, a spa that looked like a beached whale cos it was waiting to be installed. 
They have a veggie garden that needs a bit of work but about 5 of the best looking Lime trees loaded with fruit . Owner was a pleasant bloke, very accommodating. For $110, it was ok...but have never stayed anywhere else quite like it.


Interesting place.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you've checked in the rooms are very spacious and clean. Wi-fi also available and car parking in the back. I stayed in a motel room with a nice large bed. I have been to a few outback motels and this is one of the affordable ones, but still quality bedding.

Wi-fi and comfortable

I've stayed more than once and have had family stay also. Cityside is close to Mount Isa shops. Quiet and clean rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff who always go above and beyond to help. Great for all types of travelers. Free wi-fi and laundry facilities. Relaxing pool/bbq entertainment area. I now live in Mount Isa permanently, but when I was visiting over the years, this was my favorite places to stay. I have made referrals to others also visiting for work, and they have all always enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend you give Cityside a call before going anywhere else. Affordable and quality accommodation.

We stay here for one night,the location is convenience and safe,the room is very clean,we also have fun in the swimming pool.The most important thing is the hotelier is really nice to us! She offers some informations about restaurant and lookout. It's a comfortable place to come.
