The Kingscliff Seaside Guesthouse

My husband and i stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. We were fortunate in that there were no other guests there at that time (Sunday & Monday nights). Julie (the owner) could not have been friendlier or more helpful-right from when i first rang to enquire about availability until the morning of our departure. She was there when we wanted her but not intrusive, Our suite was cosy (ie ample size but not huge-this is on old style guesthouse) with a separate living room, kitchenette, VERY comfortable bed and small ensuite. The furnishings were all period-style -apart from the sunloungers, of course! We had our own private balcony overlooking the garden and the pool. We opted for a breakfast in our room on day 1 - wonderful fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread and pastries (sorry, it has been a while since we stayed there and i don't remember the specifics). Day 2 we had breakfast in the beautiful dining room, freshly squeezed juice, cooked breakfast (seem to recall poached pears), fine coffee and all personally prepared and served by Julie. Lots to do in the surrounding area-drove up to Fingal Head and to Kingscliff to explore. Thoroughly recommend this Guesthouse for romantic stays or groups of friends.
