"Собственник" не хочет пропускать ни туристов, ни жителей Цахкадзора на территорию. Позор! The entrance to the sports complex has been closed since July 2023. It used to be one of the best places for family walks. The "owner" refuses to allow both tourists and residents of Tsaghkadzor onto the premises. Shameful!


It used to be a nice, peaceful place but now it is not allowed to enter

I came with my family to the Tsakhkadzor for a walk: decided to stay for a couple of days, went up to the main sports complex, the guard didn't let me go, declaring, think: it's private territory; didn't let me go to the reception, didn't even contact me on the phone, but just advised me to contact the administration, without giving me a phone number:

Complaint

1. It is clearly mentioned on Booking.com, that the Private Pool is included in the price. BUT when I asked the receptionist about it, she told me, that I need to pay an extra fee for the pool (1500AMD or 2.5EUR). "Maybe it is a mistake", - this is what the receptionist answered me when I told her what I read on Booking. 
2. Everything was too old; the sofas and the mattresses were dirty and dusty. 
3. There wasn't a room with a double bed available, so the receptionist promised to help us take the tween beds closer, but didn't help.
4. For the pool table they charged 3000 AMD (5 EUROS)/hour, but some of the balls were missing + the lights in that room weren't working properly. 
5. When we checked in and received our room key, no one was there to tell us where to find our room, and we got lost because the building is too big.

I highly not recommend this hotel, because the information they provide online is far from being real.

I stayed there for one night. The four-star hotel doesn't hold up. The rooms are small. It's pretty old and a small TV. There was no hot water, so I had to call the reception.

It doesn 't go for four stars.

We had to wait for the receptionist for 15 minutes as only one of three receptionists were answering the questions of guests and welcoming them. 
We checked in at 14:30 we were told that one of our rooms has not yet been prepared and we have waited for 2 hours. 

In the booking I booked and extra bed and no one was aware of that (though in every room there was an extra bed). After all, we didn't get any linens for extra bed.

For 4 star hotel we were given 2 towels each and they refused to give dressing gowns and said that they don't have any, though other employee said they do have dressing gowns but they are given only to VIP guests.

The refrigerator was emty though at 4 star hotel there should be a mini bar.
No possibility to order even a water inside the hotel after working hours.

We were asked to leave at 12:00 morning without taking into consideration that they made us wait for 2 hours before checking in.

The rooms were clean (4 out of 5)

The heating system was properly working and there always was hot water.



Not worth of 4 stars

We stayed for three nights. We arrived on a day when there was a heavy snowfall. The parking lot is large, but the parking lot is lower and further away from the main entrance, and at the entrance is not allowed to park (although a couple of cars were parked at night, it may have been employees of the complex, I don't know...) So in winter, with the snowfall from the parks, there are clutters.

A holiday for sports and skiing enthusiasts!

For those who love skiing, this is the place to relax. I go there almost every year, the hotel is excellent, well maintained, well cleaned and very comfortable there is an indoor Olympic swimming pool and gyms for every sport Not far from the hotel about a kilometer there is a cable car that goes up to the top of the mountain and bloated on ski and snowboards. This is the best mountain ski resort in the whole CIS, there are a lot of tourists who like to ski there is a ski rental, on the mountain there is a tea room that does not melt the snow that pleases the skier and snowboarders when there is a lot of snow.

A great winter vacation.

It's a good hotel. It's separate from the others. It's different from the other hotels in that there's a large and clean swimming pool that fits all the standards of a sports pool. There's also a sports hall that's good. The food is tasty and varied. The rooms are also cozy.

The sports base

This hotel is ideal for skiers in winter, and in summer it is advantageously distinguished from other hotels by a large and clean swimming pool.
