Nice property in a quiet area. Quality of rooms is okay, but the service given by owner Marcelo is commendable, highly recommend.

Everything neat, clean, the necessary for the stays. A friendly owner and employee would ask us about excursions. They would bring us breakfast when we ordered it. The patio and stables were in perfect condition. The taxi driver who recommended Marcelo to us was nice and we handled him.

Super recommended

The best cottages in Iguazu. They are maintained by their owner Marcelo. They give you a personalized, friendly and serviceable treatment. Lovely location. Fast access from the route. Nice and quiet area. Spacious cottages. Two bedrooms. All very well equipped and maintained. The pool is excellent. I love this place. Ideal for families.

Cabañas and tranquility in Iguazu.

We enjoyed our days in Iguazú, this somewhat detached from the center of the city, which is why it is a quiet area to rest. Very friendly with the attention of its owner and staff. It is ideal for those who travel by car, but if the taxi services for transportation do not work well. Breakfast is served in the cabin. Everything is very nice. Recomendable Algo Comico has a sign that says No alimento a Román  a very affectionate dog to the guests.

Good accommodation option

Excellent place, super quiet and well organized.  Its owners are very kind! I would definitely return and recommend it! In addition, thank you for the transfer service!! Always ready to help and give the best advice to make the most of our stay.

At the cabin the lack of maintenance is with a shower without water pressure its air conditioning equipment affected by constant light cuts the mattress is as bad as your mattress Unfortunately without a television in the main room which to me is a very personal taste the most surprising thing is that it has schedules for the use of the pool in an area of extreme heat where after a roast at night I would have liked to use freely.

Disillusionment at a very high price.

We were in a small apartment equipped to cook for ourselves, all clean, a nice communal swimming pool, and plants in the garden, highlighted by the kindness and willingness of the owner.

Friendly and cheap, a pleasant stay.

We were really pleased with the welcome, the accommodation and the place until we realized that our laundry, which we had entrusted to them to wash for the sum of 12 euros, was full of dirty drumming tasks (obvious traces) Half of our clothes were damaged, indissoluble and immutable. The most disappointing thing is that the charming housewife was very careful not to report it. Not professional at all. Moreover, the pool was not cleaned on Sunday when we were there so there was no bath. We also realized that the taxi driver's (driver's) advice they gave us was practicing orthodox prices when we had another business at the restrooms next day.

Disappointed

Comfort - the Cabana we stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable with a powerful and hot shower. The kitchen had sufficient appliances for us to cook two evening meals. There is a double bed in one room, and bunk beds in another.

Hospitality - Marcelo (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly - arranging a taxi to collect us from the airport in advance and offering advice on how to get the most out of our stay. He spoke good English and was very welcoming. He lives on site and so was able to address any questions or small problems immediately. 

Breakfast - was simple with coffee, juice, croissants and bread rolls with a selection of preserves. It served its purpose and was very reasonably priced.

Location - possibly the only negative (the price you pay for tranquility!). It is a good 30min walk to Iguazu town/nearest supermarket, and an hour's walk to the 3 Points marker. The local buses were a nightmare to navigate (we gave up) but there are plenty of taxis around to get you about.

You can get a bus to the Argentine side of the waterfalls but we found a taxi was similarly priced and much more convenient. Marcelo was happy to arrange us a taxi to the Brazilian side the following day (30minute drive via the border checks).

For the price we paid I was very impressed with the comfort of our stay. Be prepared to pay for a few taxis to/from town but otherwise I can't fault the experience.

Great value and superb hospitality

El Descanso is a nice little place.Marcello is a great host and an organizing talent. Not only did we get good business tips, but Marcello also organized the dressing room for us and put Julio and me on the side of a cool taxi driver...we just felt comfortable there...again, Marcello.
