Very spacious and well located in the center of Bariloche, half a block from the main square and half a block from the cathedral. If it is luxurious it offers the basics. proper accommodation. It has parking. good bathroom. no bathroom. It has a beautiful garden and the attention is very correct and pleasant.

A good option.

The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating... except for one. There is always this old lady who’s very unwelcoming. When asked if I can leave the keys upon leaving for my daytrip, she refused. She never really smiled as well. Dunno why people can be so sad and angry. Props to the others who are very friendly though. None of them speak english, but I felt their warmth and hospitality (except the one). 

Could have been better

I spent a very nice few days on my trip to Bariloche in this hostel. It is very well located. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help (many times I ordered hot water for the thermo and they always gave me). The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is fine. They offer a good breakfast (including fresh fruit). It has no elevator, so you have to climb stairs. It has parking, but it is for very few cars (we had to leave our several times in a paid parking). Beyond that, I liked it and would choose it again.

How good the hostel is!

Lovely family run hosteleria. Very friendly and helpful. Very central. The premises could use some updating, but is comfortable.

I booked Hosteria Piuke for 7 nights but left after 3 because the facilities and service were so bad. Many issues to cover, the main one being I didn't feel safe in this property. There was a smell of gas one evening and when I opened my door, one of the hotel staff was trying to re-ignite a gas boiler with a naked flame. She had a small paper fire going on the ground beside the boiler. I took a photo of this and although I didn't capture the flames, you can see matches and paper on the ground. As for the room itself, it was not as advertised. It was much smaller, the TV was smaller, the bathroom was tiny (see photo), the window didn't shut properly which meant it was cold in the room, the wifi did not work for the entire time I was there. On 2 of the 3 nights I stayed, there was no hot water (in winter).Because I had booked for 7 days ahead of time, the staff at the hotel refused to give me a refund for the 4 days I didn't use (it was $600 for 7 nights in peak winter season). They ignored my follow up emails too. I felt I deserved a refund due to the lack of basic facilities and the unsafe conditions in the hotel. There is also no lift in the hotel so you will be carrying your own luggage up and down the narrow stairs. Also, if you are english and non-spanish speaking traveller, do not go here. The front desk staff speak ZERO english.Even though it's only 2 stars, basic and safe facilities are expected. This hotel fails to deliver.

Unsafe hotel with broken facilities

We spent a few very comfortable days in the Piuke Hosteria. The room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We arrived at 9 a.m. and were able to take our room that was already ready and on the way we traveled at night, so they allowed us to pack our bags and be quiet in the dining room.The girls are all attentive and super friendly.The breakfast is correct and all the products are fresh, and they have all day, hot water and coffee to serve. and the location is excellent, as it is located a half-quarter downtown, a quarter of the lake and a quarter-quarter of the downtown parking lot where all the collectives pass.For the prices that are handled in Bariloche, it is cheap for the convenience it offers. Repeat this!!

We are delighted!!everything about ten, the location, the people who work at the hotel, the rooms are very clean and beautiful.I would choose them again.They help you with what you need, they give you a place if your microphone doesn't sell a schedule, tea and coffee, water warm all the time.

We stayed a night in Bariloche in the Hosteria Piuke very good location in the center of Bariloche, our surprise for wellness, attention, a good heated room and a rich breakfast, I would definitely recommend it.

The whole place was spotless, the bedrooms were confortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. From breakfast to costumer service was 1/10. The breakfast was just enough, we didn’t mind not having hot food. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and shops and travel agencies to organise excursions. The ladies were very helpful and puntual having the breakfast ready by 7:30 amWhat we didn’t like was the internet service and the tv reception. We also don’t like the shower and there is no screen and water goes everywhere, no matter how careful you may be. Every thing else was just perfect. We definitely recommend this hostel.

The hotel's location is perfect, 50 meters from Mitre Street (main, where all the businesses, shops and bars are located) 50 meters from the Cathedral and 1 block from Lake Nahuel Huapi. The breakfast was very good, it was plentiful. rich and fresh (of the day). The staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs. They had their own parking. Security rooms throughout the hotel and the wifi was fast yumas were in all sectors. The white bedding was impeccable, as well as the towels that were changed every day. The shed cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The individual beds should have been a little clean, but the mattresses that were regularly fitted were already packed with warm clothes... The bathroom was so comfortable that the bathroom had to be cleaned up, but the bathroom was very clean, and the temperature was very good.
