The owners were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable, the breakfast is made of natural products and prepared by the owner, and it is also very abundant, as a negative point to get there, you have to go through a stretch of narrow street.

Very well situated, a homemade breakfast with products made by the owner herself. Rita is charming and attentive despite no speaking English. We will definitely return. It is well situated and offers free parking in the same estate.

Highly recommended

We would like to say thank you to Shtino hotel. We had a reservation with them, but we could not arrive, as we took the wrong road (from Berat to Gijrokaster - interior road instead of the one in the coast- DO NOT DO THAT!) plenty of stones (middle of nowhere). We had a problem with the car and got a flat tyre. We could not arrive to our destination and they cancelled our room for free - thank you so much, it was a hard night for us. Hope you all the best!

Gentle and understandable host

A few rooms, with balcony, on the second floor of a house with a really good view over Argirocastro. It is worth booking because the place is really magnificent. Sure, Mrs Rita and her husband do not speak English or Italian, but patience, they look very cute.

Perfectly welcoming.

We had a great time at Rita's house! I had a broken ankle, so she helped us a lot despite her Rita no english, Rita no english! we managed to get along! She helped us with the restaurants, the little dej is excellent and she gives the right plans for the city tour. We arrived at night, so she didn't open us the first night... be careful, come in the day;)

We stayed in hotel Shtino Gjirokaster at the beginning of September for 1 night. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, furnished with style,and in the most preferred zone of the city. The host Rita was very helpful and prepared us a tasty morning with homemade jams,tea and eggs.

Excellent hospitality

The building where this hotel is located is a short walk from the Ethnographic Museum. It is run by a beautiful couple who, even if they do not speak Italian or English, can understand each other and make themselves available. Beautiful rooms, panoramic views, some with air conditioning others with only a ventilator.

Great hospitality

Clean, new, well-maintained service, Rita, the owner is looking out for everything in order to please. She has a refrigerator in the common-use hallway. It's a great breakfast. Rita invites raki, she's like a mother. It's hard to locate and walk to the village slopes but that's all there is to it.

Two double rooms for 42 euros per night (more than about one euro per person for the optional breakfast but really recommended!). The property is a few steps from the centre, Rita and her husband are very kind and available. The rooms are modest, some with panorama and balcony, but still go more than well given the required price.
