Very beautiful location, near the waterfall, there is a place to walk, there is a beautiful cypress (royal) alley that goes to the sea, which is nice to get to the sea! The hotel really liked it! Good rooms, beds with good mattresses, new, but to my subjective taste very soft mattresses. Very friendly maintenance staff! Food is good, there is something to choose from. The only small swimming pool, but we didn't use it, because we went to the sea. We recommended the hotel!!! And the most beautiful place in Abkhazia is New Athon!

However, when booking we once again emphasized that we need a pick-up with a warm pool, and if the pool doesn't heat up at this point, we will book a hotel in Gagrad. Spoiled rest

The price included accommodation, breakfast-dinner by the Swedish table, transfer from Adler airport to Novy Afon and back. The flight from Nizhny Novy Afon was evening, on arrival at Adler at the PEGAS TURISTIK counter met a welcoming guide, received a suitcase. The guide called for a transfer and the driver took me to the hotel in 1 hour. The coffee bar took place at 10:00 p.m. At the check-in point I was alone.

We are always greeted by a smiling and welcoming girl, Sabina, the maid, the cleaning is always great, the cooking is very respectful, everything is delicious, especially the first meals. We usually don't stay at the same hotel twice, but we will come back to you.

It's a great hotel, great staff.

My husband and I were in Grand Afon in the first half of July 2022. Good: modern building, convenient location relative to other attractions of Afon, elevator in the building. Not convenient: very far from the sea, no double beds (employees just move two single beds), unsightly view of the windows (on the road or in the courtyard), cleaning extremely superficial, did not change the bedding once in 13 nights.

It's a great location, all the sights are nearby. It's a long way to the sea, but the path along the shady alley has not caused us any special problems. The hotel itself is new and beautiful. Everything is ruining the beach where the beds are standing shoulder to shoulder on a small space, because this pathetic piece of land is designed for several hotels, and it's just terrible food. If the problem with the beach can be solved for a small amount of money, there are paid beaches nearby, then eating at the cafeteria with paid meals is a must.
