Clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast

Fantastic find. Iain and Anna the hosts couldn't have done anything more, our stay was perfect. So welcoming, comfortable, clean room and a lovely breakfast.

Stopped at Creston Villa in September 2025.  Lovely hosts, spotlessly clean room and very comfortable bed.Served a filling, continental breakfast with several home-made offerings.On-street parking was plentiful close to the building.Would certainly recommend.

A very well kept B&B with welcoming hosts. It does have an older theme but is quite charming.

Lovely guest house within walking distance of Lincoln centre. Warm, friendly welcome on arrival and a lovely selection of cakes to help yourself to.The pine room was spacious and very clean, couldn’t fault it at all, loved the mint humbugs in the room and lots of lovely little touches to it.Breakfast was amazing, a great selection of cereal, fruit, yoghurts, home made oat biscuits and a yoghurt, fruit and granola bowl. Cured meats and cheese were available too.Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This was an experience not to be missed. Our hosts, Anna and Ian made us welcome in their home and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was as good as we would ever expect.  The room was perfect and we had the luxury of their lounge and garden to use. A very professional pair and they are very good at what they do and provide. 11 out oof 10 on all counts. Superb.

The place to stay in the Lincoln area.

We had just a short stay at this eclectic B&B and were made very welcomed by the hosts. The Garden Room we stayed in was very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed.Breakfast was great, with many homemade  products, and lovely chats with Iain and Anna.Will stay there again if and when we revisit Lincoln.

We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and fresh. There was plenty of refreshments and snacks available for our stay. We parked on the street nearby and it was a 20 minute walk in to the City. In the morning we were greeted by our hosts, Iain & Ann. There was a large selection breakfast items on offer which was more than ample for us. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guest house to friends and family.Iain & Ann are a lovely, friendly couple who provide a first class service.

Last minute City break

Had a lovely one night stop in Lincoln for a black tie event. I chose Creston Villa as it was within walking distance to the event.The welcome from Iain was exceptional showing me the facilities available, then my room.The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water from the shower.Tea and coffee was available both in the room and kitchen/dining area.After a good night sleep breakfast was continental with an assortment of cheeses and meats along with fresh fruit and yoghurt.There were also homemade brownies and cookies.

Lovely guest house with character

Well what a lovely find this place was. We were looked after by the owners from start to finish, Iain was super friendly and extremely helpful checking us in, showing us around etc. Our room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. When we left we were given free home baked goods by Hannah which was a really nice touch. Was like staying back at home with our parents bless them both. Beautiful place and would highly recommend.

Lovely Find, exceptional owners

A fantastic gem of a guest house, ideal for visiting Lincoln. The Victorian decor & character is pleasant & homely. The hosts lain & Anna treated us & all guests during our stay like royalty. The pine room we stayed in was luxurious & cosy. The continental breakfast boasted great variety with hot beverages & toast served on request. Thoroughly reccomend & would stay again soon.

5 star Victorian guest house

Only stayed for a night but had such a lovely experience. The Victorian room is gorgeous, I loved all of the little trinkets and antiques, it's hard to feel bored as there's so much to look at! Iain and Anna make you feel so welcome and cared for like family without being intrusive at all. The homemade oat cookies are not to be missed! I will absolutely be recommending Creston Villa to any friends or family travelling to Lincoln :)

Iain and Anna will make you feel part of the family on arrival. You have access to the kitchen and dining area at all times meaning you don't have to stay in your room; although your room will also feel like home given all the special little touches and additions located within.My new go to location whenever close to Lincoln

What a gem

Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. Well worth a visit, and it is a reasonable walk into the town centre. The breakfast was continental so no big fry up, but plentiful and more than enough to start your day.
